This is a non sectarian broad left podcast that is dedicated to bringing anti capitalists of all tendencies together to discuss the way forward. We all agree that society should and could be better, and it's okay to have differences of opinion on how that is to be achieved. While based in the West of Ireland we look at the world through an internationalist lens. We discuss all aspects of society with a view to creating a better understanding of the world, both for ourselves and anybody who tunes in our podcast. If you have any suggestions or comments get in touch, raidio.reibiliunach@gmail.com

Panel discussion on the budget, name the positive!

We're back after a short break to discuss budget 2023 with Conor Dowd (An Rabharta Glas) and Joe Daly (People Before Profit). A budget that left those on social welfare far below what was needed to break even with 9 per cent inflation, widened the gap between rich and poor by some €200 a year and made token gestures to low-income workers. According to social justice Ireland a total of 595,000 people in the south of Ireland live in poverty, 164,000 are children. All these people are effectively worse off after the budget. A budget for the energy companies and vulture funds
