Radulich in Broadcasting has a great reputation for providing tremendous podcast content in the Entertainment world. Now, they bring their myriad of shows to the W2M Network. Prepare for great things from Movie and Metal Music Reviews to Comic Book talk and more.

Mark Radulich has been an internet personality since 2004 with his Progressive Conservatism blog. He then took that blog to the airwaves and created a podcast for it. It then changed to PC Live. After that, he brought out the 411mania Ground and Pound Radio as well.

Finally, Mark would partner up with another 411mania alum, Sean Comer, to create the movie franchise review podcast Long Road to Ruin and then Robert Cooper to create the metal album review podcast, The Metal Hammer of Doom. Robert Winfree took over the MMA show and then added his own podcast, Everybody Loves a Bad Guy. That’s when the Radulich in Broadcasting Network was born. Joining Winfree in having their own podcasts were super fan’s Jesse Starcher (Source Material) and Jayson Teasley (From the Cheap Seats). The RIB has also partnered with The Casual Heroes for wrestling shows and the occasional movie related podcast. Finally Winfree and Radulich added a weekly movie review show to the ever growing lists of podcasts on the Network.

On Trial: The Hand that Rocks the Cradle (1992 vs 2025)
Tonight on On Trial, we are comparing and contrasting the 1992 The Hand That Rocks the Cradle with the 2025 Hulu remake. The original, directed by Curtis Hanson, starred Annabella Sciorra as Claire Bartel, a new mother targeted by Rebecca De Mornay’s chillingly composed nanny, Peyton Flanders, alongside Matt McCoy, Julianne Moore, and Ernie Hudson. It defined the early ’90s domestic thriller — glossy, paranoid, and simmering with class and gender tension. The new version, directed by Michelle Garza Cervera, stars Maika Monroe as Polly Murphy, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Caitlin Morales, and Raúl Castillo as her husband Miguel, with a supporting cast that reframes the story through a modern lens of influencer parenting, fertility tech, and curated perfection. Tonight, we put both films on the stand: Has the remake deepened the original’s themes of trust, vengeance, and control — or traded its bite for sleek, algorithmic polish? We’re finding out which one truly rocks the cradle.

Triple Feature: Edward Scissorhands/Mars Attacks/Dark Shadows
Tonight we’re diving into the gothic playground of Tim Burton — a director whose fingerprints are carved deep into American pop culture. From Edward Scissorhands, Burton’s bittersweet suburban fairy tale about isolation and artistry, to Mars Attacks!, his anarchic send-up of mid-century sci-fi and political hubris, and finally Dark Shadows, his nostalgic monster mash of style over sincerity — this lineup traces the arc of a filmmaker both trapped and liberated by his own aesthetic. It’s a look at how Burton went from misunderstood romantic to self-parody, and how, even now, his best work still feels like the dream of an outcast who never quite came down.

The IndySiders: TNT - Effy's Big Gay Brunch UK 3/GCW -Josh Barnett's Bloodsport XV
Tonight on The IndySiders we're diving into two very different indie wrestling experiences. First up: Effy’s Big Gay Brunch UK 3 from TNT Extreme Wrestling at Fusion Nightclub in Liverpool — a vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ talent and wild energy, anchored by a main-event tag featuring Effy & Drew Parker defeating Leonardo Darwin & Tate Mayfairs.

Then we shift gears into full combat mode: Josh Barnett’s Bloodsport XV from Game Changer Wrestling — a rope-less ring, no turnbuckles, victory only by knockout or submission. We’ll unpack the card, the fighters, the format, and how this raw, shoot-style battlefield stacks against the spectacle of Big Gay Brunch.

Push up your headset — whether you’re here for glitter or grappling, we’ve got you covered.

Damn You Hollywood: Springsteen - Deliver Me from Nowhere
Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere is a 2025 American biographical musical drama film starring Jeremy Allen White as Bruce Springsteen. Written and directed by Scott Cooper, and based on the 2023 book Deliver Me from Nowhere by Warren Zanes, as well as some elements from Springsteen's autobiography Born to Run, it chronicles Springsteen's personal and professional struggles during the conception of his 1982 album Nebraska. The film also stars Jeremy Strong, Paul Walter Hauser, Stephen Graham, and Odessa Young.

Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere had its world premiere at the 52nd Telluride Film Festival on August 29, 2025, and was theatrically released in United States by 20th Century Studios on October 24, 2025. The film received mixed reviews from critics, though White's performance has received praise.

Triple Feature: Requiem for a Dream/The Wrestler/The whale
Darren Aronofsky’s films are about the body as battlefield — craving, decaying, reaching for redemption and collapsing under its weight. Requiem for a Dream (2000) is addiction as apocalypse, a symphony of repetition and ruin powered by Ellen Burstyn’s tragic hunger for fame. The Wrestler (2008) trades chaos for quiet despair, with Mickey Rourke’s washed-up hero chasing applause like a drug — a portrait of broken masculinity and fading glory. The Whale (2022) completes the cycle: Brendan Fraser’s Charlie seeks forgiveness through reconnection with his daughter, eating himself alive to prove he still feels. Across all three, Aronofsky obsesses over self-destruction and the impossible longing to be seen again — by God, by the crowd, or by one’s own child. His cinema is a study in human ruin: brutal, sacred, and endlessly reaching for grace.

On Trial: Red Sonja (1985 vs 2025)
Born from the pages of Conan the Barbarian, Red Sonja has always reflected what each era thinks strength in a woman looks like. The 1985 film — Dino De Laurentiis’s final sword-and-sorcery gamble starring Brigitte Nielsen — was a lavish, doomed spectacle that critics mocked and fans later reclaimed as cult pulp. Forty years later, M. J. Bassett’s 2025 reboot starring Matilda Lutz tries to reforge the legend with sleek CGI and feminist rhetoric after fifteen years in development hell. The result, say critics, is “visually bold but spiritually hollow,” another attempt to build a woman’s Lord of the Rings without grasping what made Tolkien’s world sacred. Tonight we compare sincerity versus irony, pulp versus polish, and ask: in an age of manufactured heroes, what does it still mean to believe in one?

Triple Feature: Les Misérables/The Phantom of the Opera/Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber Fleet Street
Tonight’s triple feature charts the modern musical’s evolution from stage grandeur to cinematic intimacy. Les Misérables (2012), long trapped in development, found redemption under Tom Hooper’s live-sung realism, winning three Oscars and redefining the genre’s emotional rawness. The Phantom of the Opera (2004), Andrew Lloyd Webber’s own adaptation directed by Joel Schumacher, preserved the opulent theatricality of its 1986 hit, trading subtlety for spectacle and box office success. Tim Burton’s Sweeney Todd (2007) stripped Sondheim’s operatic dread to its bones—industrial London rendered in blood and ash, with Johnny Depp’s haunted performance earning two Oscars. Together they form a triptych of obsession and redemption—three wounded men seeking salvation through music, their worlds collapsing between faith, art, and violence. From the barricades to the opera house to Fleet Street, these films trace the death of theatrical innocence and the last roar of the sung confession.

TV Party Tonight: Peacemaker (Season 2)
The second season of the American black comedy superhero television series Peacemaker is based on the eponymous character from DC Comics. While the first season is a spin-off from the DC Extended Universe (DCEU) film The Suicide Squad (2021), the second season is set in the DC Universe (DCU) which is a "soft reboot" of the DCEU. The season continues the story of jingoistic vigilante Chris Smith / Peacemaker, who finds an alternate dimension where his father and brother are still alive and the family together is a highly regarded superhero team. It is set after the events of the DCU film Superman (2025). It is produced by DC Studios with James Gunn as showrunner.

John Cena stars as the titular character alongside Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, Steve Agee, Frank Grillo, and Robert Patrick. The season was ordered in February 2022, with Gunn set to write and direct all eight episodes. Filming was expected to begin in 2023, but work was put on hold when Gunn was made co-CEO of DC Studios and switched focus to Superman. The spin-off series Waller was then prioritized, but later delayed by the 2023 Hollywood labor disputes, and in March 2024 Gunn announced that the second season of Peacemaker would now release first. Some filming occurred the next month, taking place simultaneously with Superman at Trilith Studios in Atlanta, Georgia. Principal photography for the season took place from June to November.

The season premiered on the streaming service HBO Max on August 21, 2025, and consisted of eight episodes. It received acclaim from critics, who generally found it to be better than the first season and praised Cena's performance as well as the wider cast, though its conclusion received a more polarized response.

TV Party Tonight: Alien - Earth (2025)
Alien: Earth is an American science fiction horror television series created by Noah Hawley. It is the first television series in the Alien franchise and is set two years before the events of the 1979 film Alien. The series stars Sydney Chandler, Alex Lawther, Essie Davis, Samuel Blenkin, Babou Ceesay, Adarsh Gourav, and Timothy Olyphant in main roles.

Development for the series was reported to have begun in early 2019, with Ridley Scott attached to executive produce for FX on Hulu. It had started pre-production by April 2023, with Chandler cast in the lead role the following month, and further casting taking place from July to November that year. After principal photography was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, production began in July 2023 but was halted in August due to the 2023 SAG-AFTRA strike. Filming resumed in April 2024 and ended in July that year.

Alien: Earth premiered on FX and FX on Hulu in the United States and on Disney+ internationally on August 12, 2025.

Damn You Hollywood: Tron - Ares
Tron: Ares (stylized as TRON: Ares) is a 2025 American science fiction action film that is the third installment in the Tron series, following Tron: Legacy (2010). Directed by Joachim Rønning, it features an ensemble cast including Jared Leto, Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Jodie Turner-Smith, Hasan Minhaj, Arturo Castro, and Gillian Anderson, with Jeff Bridges reprising his role as Kevin Flynn from the previous films.

Development of a sequel to Tron: Legacy began in October 2010 by franchise creator Steven Lisberger. In March 2017, Walt Disney Pictures shifted plans toward a soft reboot with Leto playing a new character. Garth Davis was set as director in August 2020 when Wigutow was working on the script, but stepped down in January 2023. Rønning replaced him a month later. Production was expected to begin in August 2023 but was delayed by the 2023 Writers Guild of America and SAG-AFTRA strikes. Filming ultimately began in January 2024 in Vancouver and wrapped in May. By August, industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails was announced to be composing the score. The band's members, Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, served as executive producers on the film, alongside Legacy director Joseph Kosinski.

Tron: Ares premiered in Los Angeles on October 6 and was released in the United States by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures on October 10, 2025. The film grossed $60.5 million worldwide and received mixed reviews from critics.

TV Party Tonight: Interview with the Vampire (TV series)
Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire, or simply Interview with the Vampire, is an American gothic horror television series developed by Rolin Jones for AMC, based on The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice, named after the first book. Starring Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac and Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt, it begins with the vampire Louis recounting his past and tumultuous relationship with the vampire Lestat.

The series embraces the queer elements of Rice's work, which are only insinuated in the 1994 film adaptation, and deals with themes such as race and abuse. It is the first series set in the Immortal Universe, a shared universe based on Rice's novels. A series order was made in June 2021, after AMC Networks purchased the rights to intellectual property encompassing 18 of Rice's novels in 2020.
The series premiered on October 2, 2022, with the first two seasons covering the events of the novel.

The series was renewed for a third season in June 2024 and is slated to return in 2026 with the title The Vampire Lestat, covering the second book in the novel series. The series received positive reviews, with praise for its writing, costumes, soundtrack, production design, lead performances and their chemistry. It has received nominations at the Critics' Choice Television Awards and GLAAD Media Awards among others.

On Trial: Maximum Overdrive
Maximum Overdrive is a 1986 American horror film written and directed by Stephen King, in his only directorial effort. The film stars Emilio Estevez, Pat Hingle, Laura Harrington, John Short, Yeardley Smith and Christopher Murney. The screenplay was inspired by and loosely based on King's short story "Trucks", which was included in the author's first collection of short stories, Night Shift, and follows the events after all machines (including trucks, radios, arcade games, vending machines, etc.) become sentient when Earth crosses the tail of a comet, initiating a worldwide killing spree.

The film is King's only directorial effort, though dozens of films have been based on his novels or short stories. It contained black humor elements and a generally campy tone, which contrasts with King's somber subject matter in books. The film has a mid-1980s hard rock soundtrack composed entirely by the group AC/DC (King's favorite band), whose album Who Made Who was released as the Maximum Overdrive soundtrack. It includes the best-selling singles "Who Made Who", "You Shook Me All Night Long", and "Hells Bells".

Maximum Overdrive was theatrically released on July 25, 1986, to critical and commercial failure. It was nominated for two Golden Raspberry Awards including Worst Director for King and Worst Actor for Estevez in 1987, but both lost to Prince for Under the Cherry Moon. King disowned the film, describing it as a "moron movie", and considered the process a learning experience, after which he intended never to direct again.

TV Party Tonight: Monster - The Ed Gein Story
Monster: The Ed Gein Story is the third season of the American biographical crime drama anthology series Monster, created by Ian Brennan for Netflix. The season focuses on convicted murderer, graverobber, and suspected serial killer Ed Gein (Charlie Hunnam). The cast also includes Suzanna Son, Vicky Krieps, Laurie Metcalf, and Tom Hollander. The season incorporates meta commentary on the cultural obsession with true crime, exploring Gein's influence on Hollywood and pop culture.

It is the third installment in the Monster anthology series, following Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story (2022) and Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story (2024). A season based on Ed Gein was announced to be in development on September 14, 2024. It is the first season not helmed by Ryan Murphy, with Brennan serving as the sole creator and writer.

Upon its premiere on October 3, 2025, the season received negative reviews and was deemed inferior to its predecessors, with critics panning its meta commentary, subplots, runtime, excessive graphic violence, and factual inaccuracies, while opinions on Hunnam's performance were divided.

On Trial: Tron - Legacy
When TRON: Legacy hit theaters in December 2010, Disney wasn’t just reviving an old IP—they were resurrecting one of the strangest, most ambitious sci-fi concepts ever made. The original TRON from 1982 was a groundbreaking attempt to visualize the inside of a computer at a time when most people hadn’t even touched one. It imagined programs as people, code as architecture, and morality as circuitry. It was visionary—and it bombed.
By the 2000s, though, culture had caught up. The Matrix had turned cyberpunk into mainstream mythology, and the neon-noir look of Blade Runner had become visual shorthand for the future. Enter Joseph Kosinski—a former architect with a designer’s precision—who re-engineered TRON not as a hacker fantasy, but as a digital myth about creation, perfection, and control.
Garrett Hedlund plays Sam Flynn, son of Kevin Flynn, the hero from the first film, who vanished decades earlier. Sam follows a mysterious signal and is pulled into the Grid—his father’s virtual world, now ruled by CLU, a digital clone obsessed with “perfection.” Within minutes, we’re deep in a story that mirrors Star Wars: the fallen apprentice turned tyrant, the exiled master, the reluctant heir, and a world that must be remade. Kevin Flynn is both Obi-Wan and Yoda—haunted and withdrawn. CLU is his Darth Vader, a creation corrupted by its maker’s arrogance.
But the movie also borrows Matrix DNA. The Grid works like a virtual prison where sentient programs fight and dream of freedom. Quorra, played by Olivia Wilde, is the last of the “isomorphic algorithms,” lifeforms that evolved on their own—straight out of Ghost in the Shell’s questions about digital souls. The film isn’t about coding; it’s about consciousness.
Kosinski builds this world like a cathedral. Production designer Darren Gilford fills it with clean geometry and luminous voids. The suits by Michael Wilkinson and Christine Bieselin Clark refine Syd Mead’s 1982 designs into sculpted futurism. And Daft Punk’s score—half orchestra, half circuitry—turns the film into an electronic symphony. Even those who forgot the plot still remember that sound.
Critics complained it was cold, that the script sounded like it was written by people who’d never heard of Google. My son Jonas nailed it: “This sounds like nobody who wrote it had heard of the internet.” And he’s right. The film imagines computers as isolated kingdoms, not the networked web we actually live in. It’s a pre-internet vision dressed in post-Matrix clothing.
Yet that’s what makes it fascinating. TRON: Legacy isn’t really about technology—it’s about fathers, sons, and the danger of mistaking perfection for love. Kevin Flynn’s failure isn’t technical; it’s paternal. He built a world in his image and abandoned it. CLU inherited his father’s obsession with order, and Sam inherited his resentment. The conflict isn’t between man and machine—it’s between generations.
Kosinski would revisit that theme in Oblivion and Top Gun: Maverick: the architect of the system confronting the cost of control. TRON: Legacy is the prototype—a meditation on beauty, regret, and the limits of design.
Fifteen years later, it feels almost prophetic. CLU’s dream of a flawless system sounds uncomfortably close to the rhetoric of Silicon Valley. The movie’s warning—that perfection becomes tyranny—lands harder in an age of algorithms, A.I., and curated identities. Its message is simple: imperfection is the only thing that makes us human.
So tonight, as we gear up for TRON: Ares, we’re putting Legacy on trial—not as a sequel that glitched, but as a digital myth that might’ve been too early for its own time. It’s Star Wars rewritten by a coder, The Matrix without the leather, and Ghost in the Shell with a heartbeat.
Load the disc. Power up the light cycles. Let’s head back to the Grid.

Triple Feature: Ferrari/Heat/Collateral
Tonight’s Triple Feature is a director spotlight on Michael Mann, a filmmaker who has built his career around professionals under pressure and the costs of living by codes.

We begin with Ferrari (2023) — a film Mann spent decades trying to make. Starring Adam Driver as Enzo Ferrari, the movie takes place in the summer of 1957, when Ferrari’s company was facing bankruptcy, his marriage was crumbling, and the infamous Mille Miglia race loomed large. It’s not just a biopic but a portrait of obsession: the relentless drive to build something lasting, even as personal and public tragedies pile up.

From there we move to Heat (1995), Mann’s defining crime epic. Al Pacino plays Vincent Hanna, an LAPD detective, while Robert De Niro plays Neil McCauley, a career thief. Both men are at the top of their respective crafts, and both are consumed by their work to the point of personal ruin. The film’s legacy is monumental—praised for its authenticity, its attention to detail in portraying criminal life, and of course, the first face-to-face meeting of Pacino and De Niro on screen.

Finally, we close with Collateral (2004), a lean, modern thriller shot largely on digital cameras when that technology was still new. Tom Cruise plays Vincent, a contract killer who hires Jamie Foxx’s cab driver, Max, to ferry him around Los Angeles during a night of assassinations. It’s a film about chance encounters, moral choices, and the ways ordinary lives are disrupted by the professional ruthlessness of others.

Together, these films illustrate Mann’s enduring obsessions: characters defined by their craft, stories where professionalism is both armor and curse, and worlds where the pursuit of excellence isolates people from human connection. Whether it’s a race car mogul, a master thief, or a contract killer, Michael Mann’s protagonists live—and often die—by the codes they set for themselves.
