Ålesund Soul Children skal få nytt liv med Mathilde Isabell Gudmundsdottir Haug i spissen. Ho har sjølv bakgrunn frå konseptet og tenkte at ho ikkje kunne slutte med dette når ho skulle flytte frå Bergen. Etter at ho bestemte at ho skulle flytte til Ålesund kjende ho at dette vil ho dra i gong igjen i byen. Etter at ho la ut på sosiale medier at ho ynskjer å starta opp igjen Ålesund Soul Children har det vore enorm respons.
