It's been a minute since I recorded a podcast but with the coronavirus quarantine and everything else going on...it was the right time to check in with my buddy Susan Edmonson. A lot has changed for her and everyone.
Today's guest is Linda Syverson Guild .
She is an award-winning art quilter who lives outside
Washington DC, in Bethesda, Maryland.
She is an architect, which is apparent in the design, theme and structure of her
work.
Her pieces are recognizable for their straight lines, geometry, and the tendency to
make people smile; due to the hint of nostalgia she incorporates into her art.
For more information check out her website http://www.lindasyversonguild.com/
Today's guest is Judi Bastion. Judi is a "quiltist" from Greensboro, NC. Judi's quilt "As Far As the Eye Can See" was juried into Art Quilt Elements 2018 at the Wayne Art Center in Wayne, PA. She talks about her process in creating this quilt plus an upcoming show she is working on.
Judi also mentions other artists and companies she has worked with, here are links for more information.
