Life is full of distractions like divorce, social media, disappointments, changing seasons of life. And sometimes the noise feels so loud that it drowns out your sense of purpose. So the question is: how do you stay focused on what God really called you to do?
My guest today, Pastor Richelle A. Lorde, knows this journey well. She’s a pastor, author, entrepreneur, and community-builder and a mother of four who has walked through grief, divorce, leadership challenges, and still continues to serve with strength and grace. She’s also the heart behind The Nehemiah Project, a powerful initiative providing housing and mentorship for young people aging out of foster care.
In our conversation, Pas. Richelle shares how forgiveness can unlock your future, why staying connected to the right people is non-negotiable, and how she’s learned to balance personal pain with a public calling. She gets real about what it means to reassess your circle, let go when you need to, and keep saying “yes” to God even when the road is messy.
Her story is such a reminder that purpose isn’t about being perfect; it’s about staying surrendered, connected, and willing to grow. If you’ve ever felt pulled in too many directions or tempted to give up, this episode will encourage you to take a breath, refocus, and remember what truly matters.
