Although being a difficult subject to understand the Trinity is foundational for our faith. Understanding this doctrine adds color and background to the gospel, so that we can know and love God in a deeper way.

For us to truly know God He must reveal Himself to us. One of the primary ways he does this is through His Word. In this sermon we look at His revelation and other important aspects of the Bible.

What we remember is crucial for knowing God and living the Christian life. The kind of things we remember can lead us to God or away from Him. In this Psalm we are given clarity on what we should remember and what we should forget.

Psalm 110 gives us a picture of our better King-Priest. Jesus is out enthroned King and our eternal Priest. He sits on His throne and represents his people to God. Psalm 110 welcomes us in to see Him and worship Him!

We open up Psalm 133 (one of the Psalms of Ascent) to see what the people of God were singing towards the end of their pilgrimage. It is a short and beautiful Psalm about how unity amongst God’s people will bring glory to God to the uttermost parts of the earth – and somehow that involves beard oil and mountain dew!

Psalm 19 reveals to us what we can know about God: first in creation, and second through His revealed Word to us. Like David, we can respond rightly in worship by repenting from the sins within us that we see and asking God for help to see the sins within us that we don't yet see.

In Psalm 86, David asks God to give him an "undivided heart", which is something all believers desire as they pursue God's will and way. While we have many things working against this desire, there are also a few simple practices that can keep us grounded in the truth.

David pens this psalm that is extremely personal to him. God knows him, is with him, and made him with care. This creates worship inside of David and he praises God for it. We consider how Psalm 139 might apply to us, trusting these things to also be true for us because of the work of Jesus on our behalf.

Psalm 124 is the song of a poet-warrior-king who knows firsthand what it’s like to face overwhelming odds—and to be saved by God. David celebrates how God stood by him, fought for him, and pulled him from the jaws of defeat.

In this sermon on Psalm 51, we walk through one of Scripture's most powerful reflections on sin, repentance, and renewal. It's important that followers of Jesus work hard in all that they do. However, God is going to bring things to fruition that which He will. As we work hard in all that we do, we ultimately exercise faith in God to accomplish the things He wants to accomplish in and through us.

Psalm 29 portrays the Lord's kingship in the immense power of a storm. The "voice of the Lord" echoes His sovereignty over everything, inspiring a deep sense of awe, driving us to worship and to find refuge in the Lord.

In Psalm 2, we see this picture painted of the world in disarray and in rebellion against God. However, God has a plan and that plan is to establish His King, Jesus, to rule and reign forever.

There is much we can learn from this Psalmist on how we are to respond when we feel far from God, isolated, and defeated. He moves from despair to hope, through remembering specific times he worshipped alongside the people of God and speaking to his doubts with the truths of God.

Psalm 46 is a powerful declaration of God’s presence, protection, and sovereignty in the midst of chaos. It assures God’s people that they need not fear because God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

Paul ends his letter by summing up much of what he's written throughout the letter and hammers it home one last time. We find out what is most important to Paul, and what he'd emphasize should be most important to us, in these last words of the book of Galatians.

A practical outworking of the fruit of the Spirit in the life of the church is how we treat one another. Paul gives us clear direction in how we can love each other well.

Paul shows us the key to the Christian Life is what takes place inside of us. There are two competing desires deep within that determine how we live. In this passage we see how we walk by the Spirit and not gratify the desires of the flesh.
