EPISODE 1: QUIRINO PROTECTED LANDSCAPE  

There are hundreds of protected areas in the Philippines, so why QPL?   

That question is tough to answer. So, here with us in today’s episode is For. Reynaldo Gutierrez of the Protected Area Management Office (PAMO). As the Protected Area Superintendent of the QPL, he is responsible for supervising day-to-day management, protection, and administration. He will be sharing with us his experiences as QPL’s Chief Administrative Officer.  

This episode also sheds light on the challenges that the DENR faces in biodiversity preservation and environmental protection. It also cites various activities of the QPL and features some of the species found there.
