Ese Akpojotor is aiming to change the narrative on the way Black History is being taught to young children through her initiative Black Super Sheroes. This online resource and workshop initiative is created for parents, teachers and organisations to use to inform children on some of history's most bravest Black women that have sadly been forgotten. Self taught artist Catherine Fleming from Galway, joins the show today and shares her creative process and journey. Artist Statement "My artistic practice involves exploring the idea of pure physical expression, how the body alone can portray emotion and the individuals self image. I exclude the face in my paintings as I believe facial expressions can be more easily fabricated than the rest of the body. I believe that all humans, with practice, can master the ability to control what their facial expressions tell the outside world yet the body is less easily manipulated. Lizzy from Lizzy's Free From Life jumped on to the podcast to talk about her creative process and her food blog that she started in 2019 as a creative outlet for her self expression and love for all things food, eating and cooking.  As a dairy and gluten free blogger, Lizzy found a community who were experiencing the same struggles as she has been going through, struggles like very few options when eating out and a fear of eating things you were allergic to.
