Practice With Me

The practice of singing can serve beautifully as an object of meditation. Music unfolds in real time and can center us in the present moment. Singing involves the flow of both imagination and movement, and helps to integrate body and mind. It helps us to explore our inner world of feeling and to connect with others. Earlier in my career, I used mindfulness techniques to teach singing. Now I think of singing as an effective, enjoyable way to teach mindfulness. This podcast will explore the intersection between singing technique, Buddhist philosophy, mental and physical wellness, and humanism.
