This radio show, Nightmares, rises from the dead on Halloween night to do what it has always done, astound the listener or at least entertain. Tune in, examine the music, pass it on.
Cheap seats, nothin’! Give me some damn ear plugs! Reprehensible Cable sponsors the second episode of the Lounge Malone Show. An episode possibly poorly constructed with the potential to explode with toxic side-effects! Pods works on his filing system, wonders why we need all this useless stuff and asks the question, “do I need a gimmick?” A wacked audio piece sits buried within as well as other audio bits. Pods then brings the Lounge back to reality with “Chasing Those Annual Events” and mulls over whether he should be saying anything at all for fear of jinxing any future endeavors. Fasten your seatbelts and have fun!
One more time for the cheap seats. Time is the loosely fitting theme that this episode centers around. The first full podcast of Lounge Malone. Sponsored by the Voodoo Institute of Technology, Pods Malone’s “Lounge Malone” rolls out the first 30-some minute rambling about planning for the new year 2010 and the difficulties that brings. Then he steps back ten years for a brief look at New Years 1999. The time theme comes up again and breathes some new life into an older audio piece called, “Message from Home”. Some “Chasing of Annual Events” is done, and then we bid Pods farewell until next time.
From the golden age of audio production. This was created in part by using a four-track reel-to-reel tape machine, but mostly, by actually cutting the raw tape to eliminate the unwanted portions and then re-tape the tape back together to make the finished product. These were the days of analog folks!
"Come on feel the laughter" was a tribute(?) to the grossly over-played song in the early 80's (which one?!) "Come on feel the noise" by the band Quiet Riot. Lets just say it was begging for attention.
