If we go back a little bit, we can see that there was an economic recession all over the world from 2007 to 2009, and about the same time in 2009, a white-paper titled "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System" was released on the bitcoin.org website. In the front page of nine-page white paper written by Satoshi Nakamoto, he says Bitcoin is “A purely peer-to-peer version of electronic cash would allow online payments to be sent directly from one party to another without going through a financial institution.”. Although this nine-page white paper is quite complex, Satoshi Nakamoto describes on the second page, “We define an electronic coin as a chain digital signature.” In the eighth page under heading “Conclusion”, he wrote “We have proposed a system for electronic transactions without relying on trust”.

ক্রিপ্টো কারেন্সি কেন এত জনপ্রিয় ?
বিটকয়েন বা ক্রিপ্টোকারেন্সি এমন একটি বিষয় যা আমাদের কৌতূহলকে আরও বাড়িয়ে দিয়েছে । এই পডকাস্টে, আমি বিটকয়েনের কয়েকটি বৈশিষ্ট্য সম্পর্কে কথা বলব ।
আসলে আজকে অনেকের মধ্যেই এই ইচ্ছা জেগে উঠেছে যে তারা বিটকয়েন কেনাবেচা করে তাড়াতাড়ি বড়লোক হবেন । আর এই প্যান্ডেমিকে ঘরে বসে শেয়ার ট্রেডিং এর সঙ্গে সঙ্গে বিটকয়েনের লোভনীয় হাতছানি অনেকেই হয়তো এড়িয়ে যেতে পারছেন না | এমনকি এটা দেখা গেছে যে, ভারতবর্ষের অনেক এলিট সম্প্রদায় মানুষ অনেকদিন আগে থেকেই বিটকয়েনে ইনভেস্ট করে বা টাকা ঢেলে বসে রয়েছেন তাদের ইনভেস্টমেন্টকে বাড়ানোর জন্য ।
বিটকয়েন বা ক্রিপ্টোকারেন্সিতে নিবেশ করা কি আইন সিদ্ধ ?
এই প্রশ্নটা অনেকের মনেই জেগে ওঠে । আসুন দেখে নিই কি পরিস্থিতিতে আমরা দাঁড়িয়ে আছি ।
বিটকয়েনের কনসেপ্টটা পৃথিবীজুড়ে আসার পর পৃথিবীর অনেক দেশ এটাকে পুরোপুরিভাবে নিষিদ্ধ করে দেয়; আবার কিছু দেশ এটার ওপরে একটা উদার মানসিকতা রাখে । এমনকি এমন দেশও রয়েছে যারা ক্রিপ্টোকারেন্সিকে সংজ্ঞায়িত করতে আইন নিয়ে এসেছেন, যেমন জাপান, মাল্টা, কানাডা, বাহামাস, এস্তোনিয়া, লাটভিয়া, ইস্রায়েল, মেক্সিকো, অস্ট্রিয়া, চেক প্রজাতন্ত্র, জার্মানি, লাক্সেমবার্গ, স্লোভাকিয়া, ইউরোপীয় ইউনিয়ন এবং যুক্তরাজ্য ।
ভারতবর্ষে কি বিটকয়েন আইন সিদ্ধ ?
ভারতবর্ষের ক্ষেত্রে রিজার্ভ ব্যাঙ্ক অফ ইন্ডিয়া যারা দেশের মুদ্রার ওপর নিয়ন্ত্রণ করে ।
২৪শে ডিশেম্বর, ২০১৩ তারিখে ভারতীয় রিজার্ভ ব্যাংক একটি সারকুলার দ্বারা বিটকয়েনের মতো "বিকেন্দ্রীভূত ডিজিটাল মুদ্রা" বা "ভার্চুয়াল মুদ্রা" এর ব্যবহারকারী, ধারকগণ এবং ব্যবসায়ীদের জন্য একটি সতর্কতা জারি করেছে, সম্ভাব্য আর্থিক, অপারেশনাল, আইনী, গ্রাহক সুরক্ষা এবং সুরক্ষা ঝুঁকি সম্পর্কে, যেটা তারা গ্রহণ করছে।
