Mama, this is a funeral. This. THIS is the ending of the whole thing??? We were getting nervous around the 28 minute timestamp, because the hundreds of possible ways to end this that have been imagined by so many of us fans out there started to seem less and less likely. What we did NOT know was that there wasn't going to be anything. Anything other than a toilet full of poop. Victor Garber: You have played Jesus, Mr. Andrews, and Daddy Warbucks. You are BETTER THAN THIS. It's never been more clear that these writers are trying to punish us, and this was our ultimate torture.

And just like that: MPK has given us his FINAL BAMBOOZLE: just as the show gets kind of good, he cancels it. As it is with any abusive relationship, we shouldn't be surprised, but are still left feeling completely caught off guard. We break down each storyline and try to make sense of them, and speculate where these crazy kids will all end up. Anthony and Guissepe seem to be headed for moving in bliss, Miranda (sans Joy) is desperate to be a grandmother even though it has been established she really has no interest in children other than her own, Charlotte's vertigo is cured but her zoom therapist is an asshole, and Carrie can't possibly live a life that isn't centered around a man. Also...Seema kills a plant. Enjoy!!!

Mercury must be in retrograde, because something is going on in the AJLT writer’s room this week! A broken clock is right twice a day, so maybe this is just dumb luck on their part, but the writer managed to put out something that was at least kind of reminiscent of the original series! Apparently the writers have been listening to everyone complaining about the insufferable length of these episodes that they decided to really stick it to us: by putting out a thirty minute quickie that means us all saying “YAS, Queen. Give us nothing!” Speaking of quickies, poor Seema is getting the opposite of that with this new age crystal-wearing gardener boyfriend. Harry is cancer-free but might be passing the torch to Charlotte, and Marion should be reported to HR for eating a damn papaya like that in a professional office. This episode was amazing if you're looking for a potpourri of reasons to rip this show apart and hate-watch it even more! Us, we are enjoying every minute of madness, which seems to be only feeding into MPK's rise to complete insanity/super villain. One thing this show is going to take on like NO ONE EVER HAS BEFORE? Karaoke. Only these writers could pull off a 25 minute karaoke scene like this! Basically, they got the rights to 5 songs and found a silver romper to fit Cynthia Nixon, and by gum they are going to shoehorn them into the episode if its the last thing they do! There's also a very lazy "farce-acle" plot about everyone telling each other different white lies about who in this family has cancer. Adam the gardener has never looked grosser, and is Seema's storyline kind of making fun of reasonably priced salons off of Park Avenue? Enjoy!!!

As Carrie's character continues to lose all sense of life, personality and humanity, we couldn't help but wonder: what does MPK THINK he is doing here? Certainly not make any single one of us root for Aiden; everything that made Aiden "the one that got away" is now gone, leaving us with "GO AWAY, AIDEN!" After breaking this 200 year old glass (Carrie is the first person on earth who cares about GLASS this much) Aiden makes a shocking reveal, which Carrie reacts to by shrugging and then gaslighting the entire audience into thinking we should have known her stance. Miranda and Joy are actually kind of a breath of fresh air, so let’s at least be grateful for that. Something else we are ALWAYS grateful for? Jennifer Lewis. This woman can spin gold out of whatever this writing is. LTW's dad dies for the second time in the series, and there are a couple fleeting moments of greatness in the funeral (other than the egregious butchering of the lyrics of a Stephen Schwartz classic opening number). Meanwhile, Seema is apparantly dirt poor, so that's at least the first semi-relatable storyline so far! Enjoy!!!

We continue to be gaslit into thinking two semi okay episodes in a row is like a gift from the heavens, but we will also continue to be slightly optomistic! Those few episodes of the slowest exposition on earth has finally started to pay off with some ACTUAL storylines. Now, mind you, the stories we ACTUALLY would love to see explored in greater detail, such as LTW's immediate work crush on Marion, or Carrie and Miranda living together "Odd Couple Style") are opened up and then immediately dumped minutes later, but at least we get gilmmers of the original series every so often, and at this point, we will take those moments happily and beg for more! Harry has prostate cancer (no mention of years-long friend Steve, who might be able to relate) so at least Charlotte has something more to do than walk a dog around central park and chop vegetables in her kitchen while Anthony looks on. We also get a couple texts with Samantha, which made us feel safe again, for one shining minute of television. Also, we see lots of nudity, and we can always appreciate that. Enjoy!!!

This episode had a TON to discuss this week! First of all, it was randomly kind of good, but that also might just be us reacting to something of substance after oh so many episodes of complete "HUH???". The MAIN topic of discussion is the subject of Wyatt. Ohhhh...Wyatt. Your two hosts are VERY split on our opinions of this kid. While we agree the actor is quite remarkable (because we all universally think this kid is the WORST), but where we differ is our thoughts on whether Wyatt's behavior is warrented and his family is being too hard on him, or if maybe this kid needs a good dose of SUCK IT UP AND GET OVER IT! Meanwhile, Miranda is now housesitting on an open-ended timeline, and after an embarassing on-air snafu, she is feeling slef conscious about her situation with the lovely Joy, who we LOVE. Harry is reduced to a bitchy neighbor who is also semi-impotent (not Charlotte's first ride around the carousel), Seema has a her own Jerry Maguire moment, and LTW and George Washington have some sleep paralysis demons coming to put their marriage to the test.
