Holly Laurent is a writer, filmmaker, comedian, performer, and the host of Mega, a completely improvised podcast satirizing the world of a fictional mega church. She is also my friend. Holly and I talked about growing up Evangelical, dealing with hateful trolls online, curses, and the knowledge of scripture as a guiding force. We also talked about imitation, the nature of consciousness and how we can reprogram ourselves as well as the nature of the divine and what we're really talking about when we talk about god.
