There's something really beautiful about pushing yourself. It's not something everyone is willing to do but for those who are, it's a refining fire that can lead to greatness.
It's easy to see bad examples of how to have a disagreement with someone, turn on the news and everyone is screaming at each other instead of reporting, go on YouTube and you can find fights everywhere. So where do we see a good example? How should we be fighting? Here are a few ideas...
In this world there are two kinds of people - people you can trust with your dreams, your concerns, or your heart... and people who you can't trust. It's time we have an honest chat - not everyone is a safe person to share your heart with. Let's talk more about it on this episode of the Pep Talk Podcast.

As a former beauty queen, all I've ever wanted was world peace. (And harsher punishment for parole violators, let's be real.) So I've put a lot of thought into it this - what if we're the problem? What if the person looking at us in the mirror is the one that needs to change? What if we all took responsibility for ourselves and vowed to behave better? That might get us a bit closer to world peace.
I'm gonna need you guys to trust me on this episode and stay with me to the very end. It's tough to hear but Taylor Swift isn't your bestie. Beyonce isn't taking you to brunch. Jennifer Aniston is not coming over for dinner on Friday. And that's okay. It's time we stop letting ourselves feel peer pressure from people who are not our peers. If you've never wanted a wedding fit for a magazine or to run a marathon or be a movie star or host a podcast - that's cool - now let's stop feeling bad for it.
I wrote this episode for myself. I felt myself getting jealous over the lives of women I don't want to become. I became so upset over what my life looked like in comparison to theirs until I finally woke up and realized, they're not my peers. We're not even playing the same sport, let alone competing against each other. It was then that I was reminded that my life looks different than theirs and that's great too.
