Season 2: Episode 9: Circular Fashion with Heike Petersen Cunza
In this episode, Heike explains why circular fashion matters. In 2007, she launched her brand, Wellicious, a yoga line that celebrates sustainable fashion. With her Cradle to Cradle certification on her brand, she demonstrates the importance of every step of the production process. One of the favorite parts within the process must be in the fact that each piece can naturally go back into the earth when one no longer needs it. That truly is circular fashion. She enlightens us as to what slow fashion really is and inspires us to continue to share and work together, communally. As we grow, educate ourselves, and each other, we learn that we are all part of this evolutionary process and world. Heike inspires us to make a difference. For more on cradle to cradle certification, and to shop the brand, got to http://www.wellicious.com. We hope you enjoy this episode.
