Self-Referential Meditation by Jacobo Grinberg with Vipassana

Self-referential meditation, developed by Jacobo Grinberg, and the Vipassana technique from Buddhism share a common focus on inner observation and mindfulness, though they differ in methodology and specific approach. While self-referential meditation centers on the holistic integration of the self through the observation of thoughts, emotions, and sensations, Vipassana emphasizes the observation of the Four Foundations of Mindfulness (body, sensations, mind, and phenomena) to develop deep understanding and equanimity, as well as a path towards understanding impermanence and reducing suffering.


Although each has its own approach, both aim to foster greater awareness, understanding, and emotional well-being through meditative practice.

Lessons from autumn and reflecting on life and burnout

Through my walks in nature this autumn, I learned valuable lessons about life and about myself. Contemplating the forest gave me peace; painting the autumn leaves became a moving meditation, each brushstroke a reflection on the ephemeral beauty of existence.
