A Blueprint For Marriage | Pastor Ben Dixon
Marriage is one of God’s greatest gifts, yet it can also be one of our greatest challenges. Before sin complicated relationships, God gave us a blueprint for flourishing—He formed individuals with purpose, brought them together in partnership, united them in covenant, and invited them into fearless intimacy. Whether your marriage is thriving, struggling, or somewhere in-between, Genesis chapter 2 reminds us that God has a beautiful design for husbands and wives to walk in together. The Culture of God's Family | Pastor Ben Dixon
Every family has a culture—an atmosphere shaped by what they value and how they live. In Romans 12, Paul paints a picture of what the culture of God’s family is meant to look like. It’s not defined by the world’s standards, but by the mercy of God that has transformed our lives. As followers of Jesus, we are called to live differently—with humility, service, love, and grace. The culture of God’s family is a culture of transformation from the inside out, where renewed hearts create a renewed community that reflects the character of Christ to the world around us.   Speaker: Pastor Ben Dixon Scripture: Romans 12:1-21 Series: The Family of God   Connect Card - https://nwc.churchcenter.com/people/forms/118663 Northwest Church - www.nwcfoursquare.org "On mission with Jesus to see the lost saved and disciples made."

The Foundation of God's Family | Pastor Ben Dixon
When the Church was born in Acts 2, it wasn’t built on personalities or programs — it was built on Jesus and a people who were fully devoted to Him. The early believers formed a spiritual family that was grounded in truth, united in love, and empowered by the Holy Spirit. This week, we’re looking at the foundation that made the Church strong — repentance, faith, community, prayer, and generosity — and how those same values still hold the family of God together today. The Family That Heals | Ben and Brigit Dixon
Life has a way of leaving us broken: through the pain of broken relationships, loss, disappointment, betrayal, and even our own sinful choices. But, God’s plan is not just to forgive us—it’s also to heal us. In His family, the church, He meets us in our pain, brings comfort and restoration, and then uses our story to help bring healing to others. The Family God Is Building | Pastor Ben Dixon
Today we’re kicking off a brand-new series called The Family of God. And here’s the big idea: when God saves us, He doesn’t just rescue us as individuals and send us on our way—He brings us into a family. The church isn’t a club, it’s not a crowd, it’s not just a Sunday event—it’s God’s household. That’s what makes following Jesus both beautiful and challenging. Beautiful, because you’re no longer on the outside looking in —you belong. Challenging, because family takes work—it requires forgiveness, commitment, and love. Over the next several weeks, we’re going to see what it really means to be the family of God—how we relate to one another, how we welcome others in, and how we live out our mission together. But today, we’re going to start where Paul starts in Ephesians 2—by remembering where we came from, celebrating what Jesus has done to bring us near, and seeing that God is still building us together as His family. Faithful Giving / Generous Living | Pastor Ben Dixon
As we close our series called “Jesus, Money and Stuff”, we focus our attention to the heart of Christian giving. The Bible teaches us to give faithfully through tithes, generously through offerings, and compassionately through alms. In Christ, giving is not a burden but a joyful response to God’s grace, a way to put Him first, support His mission, and show His love to those in need. We are Prayer Warriors | Pastor Ben Dixon
Prayer is not a side activity for the Christian—it is our battlefield, our lifeline, and one of our greatest weapons. Inevery generation, God looks for prayer warriors who will push back darkness by calling on God to do what only He can. Genesis 18 gives us a powerful picture in Abraham, who stood before the Lord and interceded for an entire city as he contended for his relatives. Today, God is still looking for men and women who will hear His voice, take a stand, fight in the Spirit, and persevere in prayer until we see God’s answer. Friends, we are those people—we are prayer warriors! Speaker: Pastor Ben Dixon Scripture: Genesis 18:16-33 Series: Stand Alone Messages Thank you for Joining. Freedom From the Power of Greed | Pastor Ben Dixon
We live in a world that constantly tells us we need MORE to be happy, important, and secure. But Jesus offers us a radically different way to live. In Luke chapter 12, He warns us about the deceptive and destructive power of greed—a condition of the heart that enslaves us to our stuff and separates us from what truly matters. In our message today, we will confront the lies we often believe about money and possessions and embrace the practices that lead to freedom, generosity, and a life that is rich toward God. Rekindle Your Flame | Pastor Ben Dixon
We have all experienced times in our life when the fire of our faith begins to fade—whether through discouragement, distraction, or simply the ups and downs of life. In 2 Timothy 1:6–7, the Apostle Paul urges Timothy to reject spiritual passivity and fan into flame a fresh passion for the gifts and calling that God had given him. Through this passage, we are challenged to rekindle our spiritual passion, to reject fear, and to embrace the work and power of the Holy Spirit in our lives. We are expecting God to stir up a fresh fire in our hearts again! Speaker: Pastor Ben Dixon Scripture: 2 Timothy 1:1-7 Series: Stand Alone Sermons Thank you for Joining. God Owns It - We Manage It | Pastor Ben Dixon
Everything we have—our money, time, talents, and even our testimony—ultimately belongs to God. He is the owner; we are the managers. In the parable of the talents, Jesus teaches us a powerful truth: God entrusts each of us with resources, not to bury or waste, but to steward wisely and faithfully. Stewardship isn’t just about money—it’s about how we manage everything God has placed in our hands. And one day, we will each give an account for how we lived, invested, and served. The way we steward what God has given us doesn’t just impact today—it carries eternal significance. Stewardship is not just a financial principle; it’s a spiritual responsibility. How Does God View Money? | Pastor Ben Dixon
The Bible talks about money a lot. I bet that many of us don’t realize that more than 2300 verses in the Biblediscuss money and at least 12 of Jesus’ parables deal with money directly or indirectly. Money is more thana form of currency we exchange for goods and services. It has the power to do great harm or bring aboutgreat good. This is why we can often feel uncomfortable talking about it because it gets to something muchdeeper inside all of us. As we launch our series called “Jesus, Money and Stuff” we want to ask the question,“How does God view money?”   Speaker: Pastor Ben Dixon Scripture: Romans 12:2, Matthew 6:19-21 Series: Jesus, Money and Stuff   Connect Card - https://nwc.churchcenter.com/people/forms/118663 For more information visit www.BenDixon.org

Right Thinking for Righteous Living | Pastor Ben Dixon
The Apostle Paul has given several practical steps for dealing with anxiety. He taught them to identify anxious thoughts, pray specifically and receive God’s peace which has the power to guard from future inner turmoil. In our passage today, Paul furthers the conversation by giving some final pieces of advice for how to exchange our anxiety for His peace. We must take control of our thoughts and put into practice what we have learned from Scripture and godly people. These two principles of wisdom have the power to keep us in the peace of God as life continues to unfold. The Baptism with the Holy Spirit | Pastor Ben Dixon
This weekend, Christians commemorate the historical event when God poured out His Holy Spirit upon the first 120 believers as referenced in Acts chapter 2. This was the catalyst that truly changed the world as men and women, filled with God’s Spirit, were sent out as witnesses of Jesus Christ. Today, as we gather together, we are pausing to discuss and pray for the baptism with the Holy Spirit in our generation. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to lead and launch us into all that God has called us to do!Speaker: Pastor Ben DixonScripture: John 3:3, John 20:21-22, Matthew 3:11, Acts 1:4-8Series: Stand Alone MessagesFor more information visit www.BenDixon.org

God Is Faithful | Pastor Ben Dixon
God doesn’t change. His words are true. He is completely and totally reliable in every way. While everything else around us changes, there is Someone who does not change. He does not lie, and we can build our lives on His Word, His plan, and His promises. It’s a sure deal! The writer of Hebrews said it this way, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever,” (Heb 13:8). This means that GOD is faithful! We can trust Him. What He says is true. What He said He will do, we know He will do. Moses spoke of how God was faithful to bring Israel through to the Promised Land (Dt 7). David said that the faithfulness of God “reaches to the skies,” (Ps 36:5). The prophets Isaiah and Jeremiah both spoke of how faithful God was to them and the nation of Israel. And in our text today, we’ll read several times where the Apostle Paul spoke of how faithful God was in it all and through it all.   Speaker: Pastor Ben Dixon Scripture: 2 Timothy 2:8-13 Series: Stand Alone For more information visit www.BenDixon.org
