Who’s your friend when things get tough? Apparently, it’s this nightmare fuel of a 60s TV show that has haunted Scott and Matt for most of their lives.   Beloved by both their mums (who, coincidentally, are both named Donna—though that’s probably not relevant), H.R. Pufnstuf was a wacky fantasy “children’s” TV show that Matt and Scott were subjected to as kids. They now share two experiences: growing up with a mum named Donna (okay, so maybe it was relevant) and occasionally having flashbacks of the show, thinking, “Was it really that weird?”   Then they watch the opening theme song on YouTube… Yes. It was that weird.   Naturally, they decide to subject Gabby and Luke to this psychedelic time capsule of a show and process their shared childhood trauma the only way they know how: by creating their own improvised radio drama inspired by H.R. Pufnstuf.
