AMA News 2025

EFlight AB320neo



As the Temp hits 118 degrees here in Phoenix we have moved to indoor building instead of flying.  With Summer upon us it gives us a chance to catch up on our building skills as we beat the heat and get ready for the Fall season.  AZ Mike has been working on Scotts F-86 Saber Jet while Jay is still unpacking and getting things organized, while Shannon is working on his fleet and on occasion heads out to the filed for a quick flight with the Club members.  But the big news is the New Eflight Airbus 320Neo 64mm EDF that was just announced today.  We are excited to see the upgrades that were added to this model and we give our take on the new Airframe that will be shipping in September.  Excited to see the New Paint schemes that will come out for this airframe.

Welcome Back Jay



Join the guys this week as we welcome back Jay from his new location.  Its been a few weeks since he has been on the move but he is finally settled in and reveals his new location and chats with us about the move.  We were able to catch him only a few days into the new home so most of his RC stuff is still in boxes….But it will only be a matter of time before he hits road to find his new field.  We are looking forward to hearing more about his new area and what lies in store for him in the future…Thanks again for joining us and please like and subscribe it helps our channel grow….

Summer Flying



This week we revisit the follow up from the Big Jolt 2 trip that Shannon and the guys took.  The flying was great but the trip home held some suprises as well.  Shannon reviews the Gwillikers foam cradles that he used for the T28 trojan.  AK Mike gets his runway extended and Jay is unpacking in his new Place and has promised to be on our next episode.

Big Jolt 2025



Welcome to the Parkflyer Podcast for this weeks episode we start in the studio as Shannon Prepares for Big Jolt out in California.  We want to thank Shannon for attending the event and bringing us coverage from the event with Craig and Matt in tow.  Jreat fun was had by all and despite the mishaps the weekend turned out great.  The best paint job was an SR71 painted in FedEx colors along with the Alaskan Salmon paint job that everyone really enjoyed.  Our Heartfelt sorrow for our buddy Harry who lost one of his airframes this weekend, sorry to hear about that….Lots of great airplanes were in attendance and some great flying by all the pilots participating.  Shannon pointed out that some of the larger Turbine size airframes were converted into EDF and flew really well.  Thanks to everyone who participated and to all the pilots who support our podcast.

G.Willikers Aero accessories

EDF Jet Rally

Summer Events 2025

GUNSMOKE -2025



This week we discuss the Gunsmoke 2025 event held at Shannon's field. Fun was had all around and lots of good pilots and builders showed off their skills. warbirds and classics 2025



This week Mike and Shannon discuss the warbirds and classics event held at Sun Valley Fyers Airfield in Phoenix, AZ.  It was a great event despite the wind and rain that passed through the area.  Lots of flying and fun was had by all and Mike even received an award for the big cessna he flew at the event.  Scott attend with Mike and on Sunday got on the sticks for some turbine time on the L-39.  Thanks for your spport and we look forward to you subscribing and giving us a like.

E2K is Here



This week we are joined by Bob Ruff who is working with his club members to bring E2K racing to the area. This type of racing is big in the UK and is just catching on here due to the fact that you can 3D Print the airplanes. Bob takes us through some of the finer points of this project and the guys talk about the potential of printing their own planes. AZEF 2025



This week we attend the Arizona Electric Festival in Mesa, AZ.  We are joined again by Wyatt who was in attendance with over 25 airplanes to fly.  Shannon and AZ Mike flew the T28 trojans and AK Mike had the 40mm F-14 in the air as fast as the batteries would charge.  AZ Mike flew the big Cessna 182 for the News Media again this year and go some great photos thanks to Matthew Sullivan.  Fun was had by All and lots of friends stopped by to say hello.  Special Thanks to Doug for stopping by and showing his support.

Winter Warbirds 2025



This week we are Joined by Tony Quist from Horizon Hobby /Spektrum Team as we attend the winter warbirds event at Sun Valley Flyers Field in Phoenix AZ. This year over 100 pilots were in attendance and from all over the southwest area. Weather was amazing and the quality of aircraft was bar none the best we have seen in a while. Several Top Gun winners were in attendance and watching the pilots fly them was quite a sight. Join us as we have a good laugh and enjoy Tony;s company on the podcast. 2025 AZEF Preview

Arizona Jet Rally 2024



Join the guys this week as they attend the 36th Annual Arizona Jet Rally in Mesa, AZ.  Beautiful weather was the setting of this years Jet rally with light winds and lots of airplanes flights were bound to happen.  We had an awesome 3 day event and in this episode we are joined by Barry Hinrichs, to discuss the happenings here at the event.  Fun, Friends and Flying was the name of the game so to speak…everyone won a prize and the pilots voted on the best jets at the event.  If you have not already done so please give us a like and subscribe to our channel it helps us grow.
