Let that shit go!

Hola! Welcome to episode 3 of season 3. In this episode, I talk about different things that you can do to get over a breakup and let that shit go! In episode 2 of season 1 called “Healing” I spoke about the journey I went on to get over my ex. But that approach may not work for everyone. So this is a different angle on how to move forward.

Fix your crown QUEEN 🤍

Hola! Welcome to Episode 2 of Season 3. In this episode, I deliver a powerful and unfiltered message to women about reclaiming their confidence and femininity. I emphasize that many women have forgotten their worth, often prioritizing others while neglecting themselves. Through tough love, I encourage women to recognize their strength, embrace their feminine energy, and set higher standards in dating and relationships. There are a few key takeaways and I encourage my listeners to test my principles for a few weeks and share their experiences with me whether it be in the review section of this episode, or by sending me a DM.

How to raise your CONFIDENCE

Hola! Welcome to Episode 1 of Season 3 of Paris in NYC! I actually wrote this episode back in late November, but I didn’t get to release it until now because life happens! I decided to save it for the New Year.

In this episode, I start off by sharing a personal story about a midlife crisis I experienced a few weeks before my 40th birthday. Then, I dive into the topic of confidence—why it’s important and how to achieve it. Confidence is not just crucial for personal relationships but also essential for everyday circumstances.

Paris in NYC
Time will tell
Hola! Welcome to episode 10 of Paris in NYC! In this episode I talk about a new approach that I started to live by this summer which was following my heart regardless of what that meant. It lead me to a new relationship with someone that really showed a lot of effort until he didn’t. It was a relationship that moved rather quickly, which is fine as I believe time is irrelevant. You can be with someone for years and not feel deep emotions towards them or even believe that they aren’t the one for you, or you can meet someone and click in a way that within a week you are in love. Find out the deets of the events that took place in my summer relationship. Make sure to subscribe and share with your friends! Darling it’s better on the other side- Domestic Violence Awareness
Hola! Welcome to episode 4 of season 2! I recorded this episode over two months ago but I was so scared and nervous to release it because it is very personal to me. However, domestic violence is something that I have experienced too many times in my life and I wanted to bring light to a subject that is very taboo and difficult to talk about. So here is a brief introduction of what I went through in my past. I share this because I know that there are many people living through this and I also know that while you are going through this it is a very hard cycle to get out of. To people that have never experienced this, it seems absurd to stay with someone that has physically harmed you, however, emotional abuse is just as bad and many many people stay in those relationships as well. It is more normalized. Any kind of mistreatment should be a non negotiable, but somehow it’s not always the case. This was hard to record, and even harder to release. But I’m finally ready to do so. If you or anyone you know is going through something please seek help within these organizations. You aren’t alone. And you can escape this and darling, life is so much better on this side. I can’t begin to express how much life has given me after I have been able to choose myself. I have traveled sooo much, been to 19 countries and about to go to 3 more within the next week. I have made so many friendships and spent so many amazing hours laughing and enjoying myself that the only thing I regret is not finding the courage to leave sooner. National Domestic Violence Hotline https://www.thehotline.org/ Safe Horizon https://www.safehorizon.org/ NYS Domestic Violence Program https://www.nyscadv.org/find-help/program-directory.html If you want to just chat about it, feel free to DM me on my Instagram @_parisinnyc_ Here is what to expect: 00:00- Introduction 03:10- Similarities between my abusers 05:18- Reflection 06:00- My first abuser 09:47- My second abuser 13:56- The incident 40:19-Closing statement

The Night Life- After the lights come on
Hola! Welcome to episode 3 of season 2! However, dating is so hard when the schedules are so conflicting. In this episode I am accompanied by one of Astoria’s most loved, DJ Wyldlife (@djwyldlyfe) and HOA’s own bartender, Vinnie (@vinaguiarr). We dive into what it’s life for us to date and the misconceptions/stereotypes that people have of us. “We are so available but exclusive with ourselves”- Vinnie. You broke us, You broke me
Hola! Welcome to Episode 2 of Paris in NYC! February 17 was my one year Breakaversary! It’s been exactly one year since I broke up with my ex. In episode 2 of season 1, I walked you through the beginning of my healing journey, and for the last 6 months, I never even thought of him. However, the few weeks leading to our “Breakaversary,” he had been constantly on my mind, so I did what most Dominicans do and I went to see a “psychic” and had my cards read. The first card she pulled said that I was still chained to my past, she suggested that I write an honest letter to my ex and burn it afterwards in order to release the ties that I still had to him. So I did, but I decided to share what I wrote because that’s what makes this podcast so great, the fact that I’m so willing to be as honest as possible in hopes that others realize that they aren’t alone in what they are going through. After I recorded this podcast, I burned the letter, and since then, he hasn’t been much of a thought. Sometimes, you do need closure, and you have to do that in whatever way is best for you. Paris in NYC
05/19/2001
Hola! Welcome to episode 12 of Paris in NYC! This episode was really hard for me to record, I was really sick and had lost my voice and kept messing up and having to re record every 30 seconds. I was also just very emotional because the person I spoke about in this episode was someone that was very dear to me, and I wished that I would have realized that while I still had time to dedicate more time to speaking with him while he was alive. I made the mistake of feeling the comfort of thinking that he would always be around and we would grow old together and talk often about our lives. But comfort is something that I learned is not promised. He was so important to me and I didn’t even know it. His death put a lot of things into perspective for me and it triggered a lot of changes in my life. I recorded this two weeks ago and could not get around to writing a summary for it and therefore was holding off on releasing it, but here it is, and this is from the heart, because everything else I speak about on the podcast is honest, raw, and true to myself. Thank you for watching over me, I miss you and love you dearly. Make sure to subscribe and share with your friends! Follow my instagram page @_parisinnyc_ for more daily content and videos! Here is what to expect: 00:00- Introduction 00:43- The most romantic boyfriend I ever had 03:50- The funeral that changed my perspective 10:49- The loneliest year of my life 14:01- A first date 16:33- The 4 stages of a relationship 21:18- Self awareness 22:51- Nilson I miss you and love you, thank you

It starts with YOU

Hola! Welcome to episode 11 of Paris in NYC! In this episode I am accompanied by Jose Cruz (Ig: @_therealmozo), an advocate for mental health and the neighborhood love dealer from Brooklyn, NY. In this episode, Jose shares insights, personal stories, motivation, and highlights the importance of mental health for everyone, but especially for men.

Mental health awareness is not something that is as widespread as it should be. It is crucial as it dismantles stigma, fosters empathy, and encourages open conversations about mental well-being. By increasing awareness, society becomes more informed about the prevalence of mental health issues, leading to better understanding, support, and resources for those affected. It’s important to have a support group, and surround yourself with people that love you. Listen to the episode now!
