I’m Mama Carla. Jesus follower. A wife. A mother of 3.
Thoughts on sickness. This is something I often ponder... What do we do when we get sick or when people we hold dear get sick? Feel free to send me your thoughts and prayer requests anytime @ Carla.Ness@yahoo.com
Songs I Sing To My Children Before Bed - What songs do you sing to your children before bed? I know Christians love Amazing Grace, but it’s not usually my go-to song... Here’s my top songs to sing to them before sleep.
Let’s talk about work and WHO finishes the work. Sometimes I think that I need to do it all. I need to fight the battles and no one else is helping me. I forget that God wants to finish the GOOD THINGS HE Himself started in my life. Jesus is not a procrastinator. He is working. We need to continue to meet him in the prayer closet. BUT THE HARD THING about the prayer closet is that God asks you TO BE STILL. Sometimes when there is silence and we are vulnerable with God, in the closet... we hear the demons the loudest. God will fight the demons. He will finish the work!
Have you ever thought about death? Death is not an easy thing to think about. But I want to tell you, Jesus loves you and sees you... Let me share my thoughts with you today.
Who are we following? As a Christian, we need to follow the Holy Spirit. Sometimes that will look crazy, but Jesus can relate! Read with me: Mark Chapter 3 Verses 22 to 30
“Jesus went up on a mountainside and called to him those he wanted...” - The book of Mark, chapter 3 verse 13. How does it feel to know as a Christ Follower, you are WANTED?
Some teachers of the law saw Jesus eating with sinners and tax collectors. Why is this important? Why did Jesus choose sinners? How is Jesus like a doctor?
My thoughts on the book of Mark, chapter 2, verses 1 to 12. Who is Jesus? Is he God? Did he just forgive the paralytic? What did he see? Faith in four men? What kind of friend can we be to our friends?
Is God willing to heal us? Yes. Can God heal us? Yes. Jesus said to this man, “I am willing to do it.” Jesus is willing to heal... And what about the healing in the quiet places of our hearts?
And he said to them, “Let us go on to the next towns that I am a preach there also, for that is why I came out,” and he went throughout all Galilee, preaching in the synagogues and casting out demons. - Mark, chapter 1, verses 35-39
