On Open Pockets, every other Thursday, we review stories from the Bible to discover principles that can help us manage our finances well.

Being a “good” driver isn’t predicated on our ability to get from point A to point B quickly but on our ability to follow the rules of the road effectively. In the same way, being a good steward financially isn’t based on how well we save or how much we make or invest, it’s based on our ability to follow the financial principles edged in antiquity created by God himself, proven to be effective from generation to generation.

The more biblical financial principles we know, understand, and apply to our lives, the better we become as Kingdom Financiers and Good Kingdom Stewards over the resources God has entrusted to us.
