Baylor heads to Stillwater to face Oklahoma State this weekend, and the Cowboys will be without Mike Gundy, who was fired Tuesday after 21 years as head coach. The last time Baylor faced a team that fired its longtime coach was in 2021, when TCU fired Gary Patterson and then upset the 13th-ranked Bears.

-What sort of hornet's nest will Boone Pickens Stadium be?
-How are Baylor players approaching this game after losing to Arizona State?
-Who are the realistic candidates to replace Gundy?

In the first half of the episode, Waco Trib sports editor Brice Cherry and Baylor beat writer Zach Smith are joined by Baylor's John Morris, who has been the radio voice of the Bears for more than 30 years and has broadcast more than 440 consecutive football games. The group discusses the Bears' epic comeback against SMU last week, where Sawyer Robertson ranks among the Baylor greats and what they're expecting when Baylor hosts Samford.
Then, Zach is joined by Grant Gardner, who covers Samford for Samford Scoop and appears on The State of the Bulldogs podcast.
