If you like spirituality/philosophy served with chatty, cheerful irreverence, then this is your podcast!
One Mind Live's weekly online guided group meditation ran from 2014 to 2019. Regular hosts Stephen Fearnley (composer, meditation guide) and Naomi Janzen (guided tapping practitioner)
broadcast a new, unique meditation to subscribed members every single Friday for 5 years.
Each guided transformational experience, which included a unique blend of original music composed by Stephen, tapping to get in the zone by Naomi, and a variety of guest and host meditation guides over the years, began with a conversation. We spent about 15 minutes discussing, unpacking and often sharing a laugh over a randomly chosen topic around the subject of meditation, mindfulness, spirituality and enlightenment - as it applies to daily life here on planet Earth. Along the way, the occasional bleep word may slip out since we're being so relaxed, candid and real - hence the explicit label - but if you can handle your woo served up with the odd, innocently dropped $&@#!-word, we're your podcast!
We now share, for free, all of these episodes, which we called our Pre-Sessions - a new one from the archives will be released each week.

I love the irreverence combined with knowlege and wisdom these people share. I will be listening to this podcast every week!"

Another fun and inspiring and goose-bumby show with Laura Robinson. Ever get the feeling we travel through time with the same players? Well listen up!…
About our Pre-Sessions: Every week, for 15 minutes or so before we began our group meditation broadcast, we opened the mics so that our members tuning in for the session could listen in while we talked about what was going on for us personally and spiritually, and what trends we were noticing. It was a fun way to get everyone settled and prepared for the journey to come, as well as a way to connect with us energetically. How often do you automatically say “yes” to a request for a favor or commitment of some kind, and then later facepalm yourself to death wondering WHYYYYY? (Because the real answer was “No. Actually I don’t have time to take that on. Sorry”). Are we a nation of yes-men/women – or are there just as many of us that say “no” without thinking, perhaps programmed for self-protection to the point we turn down opportunities that would have benefited us? Laura Robinson, game inventor, game show creator, musician, author, actor, speaker and all around awesome human joins us to help sort our yesses from our nos so that we can get them right every time…

From moon phases to sun flares, we turn our attention (but not our eyes because blindness) to that big bright ball of life-force in the sky to find out what we get besides vitamin D hits and tan lines and – well – biology. Joining us this week a special surprise guest Jacqui Fifer, director of the soon-to-be-released film The Portal (Shhhhh…we can’t say more yet. It’s a secret) talking with us about meditation, the sacredness of the biosphere, sci-fi dystopias, pollen, and the solar revolution…

It’s time Naomi and Steve got up to speed on their moon magic (not to be confused with Chaos Magic, which we also touch on). Why do phases of the moon matter, when it’s still that big rock up there pulling on tides no matter what kind of earth shadow it has cast upon it? And how can we use the phases of the moon to manifest and de-manifest? And what ran by the window in the middle of the podcast?? Listen to this pre-session to get primed on how you too can harness the power of the moon…

What do you think? Is evil really in the world? Stephen is not sure about demons. He likes Naomi’s psychological model but cant throw out all of human culture, stories and myths. Naomi recounts her reading of Joe Fisher’s “The Siren Call of Hungry Ghosts: A Riveting Investigation Into Channeling and Spirit Guides” and speculates that what we experience as demons are disembodied human consciousness’ (dead people). As in Joe Fisher’s book these entities are usually just wanting to ‘re-experience’ sex again through the living. At the end of the day these low vibrational yet nefarious ‘demons’ are ego pain bodies in spirit form: basically just dead human consciousness’ that is wounded but only has base motives!…

Week four with our lovely guest Samantha J Wheatley had us going deeper than ever into the uses of oil in the rituals of self care! Naomi continued her use of the One Mind Live pre-session to get a free consult from Sam (thank you, Sam :-)) and invites anyone listening to benefit from all the wonderful info that resulted. Like where to apply essential oils on your body and why it matters; and whether there’s a relationship between the body’s voltaic system (the meridian endpoints we tap on, for example) and oils – the way there is with water; and how different oils can have different effects on not only our bodies but our emotions…All leading to Steve coming up with a cool new Tapping modality which you’ll have to listen to find out about…

When is trying to improve your self-care regimen setting yourself up for a fall? When your focus is on the “shoulds” and not the “coulds”. In week 3 with Sam Wheatley, we talk about how easy it is use the need for self-care against ourselves and how we can end up doing exactly the opposite of what we intend. In this pre-session we talk about how to avoid that…and because this is One Mind Live and it wouldn’t be a pre-session without some laughter, we deal with an apparent haunting in the studio …

In week two of Self Care month with Sam Wheatley, we embark on a lively – and candid – discussion about Frankincense, the “oil of Light”, core pain paradigms, panic-inducing geraniums and the role of aromatic anchors. Tune in or miss out!…

Stephen recounts a goose-bumpy tale of a reoccurring “past-life-friend” from Germany and Naomi suggests ways to use tapping to dig deeper into understanding such highly-strange occurrences. We finish the last broadcast of the year by reflecting not just on 2017, but also suggesting that maybe we should apply some of that Auld Lang Syne to all the past lives we’ve had before… See you next week in 2018 !…

Week 1 of Lucky Dip December, as we are calling it, kicks off with a fresh new discussion about reincarnation! Naomi and Steve do their best to explain, unpack, unravel and revel in its intricacies in this first podcast of the silly season. Not a silly subject, though, and fascinating whether you’re a believer or not. Because, you know, it’s a “thing”…

In this week’s pre-session, Naomi Janzen reveals the Soul Repertory Company- that group of special friends who you travel thought time with together. This of course gets the conversation flying about reincarnation and Stephen touches upon Jainism, a little bit of quantum (Everything you want is already here …if you jump over linear time) and Naomi finishes off with dogs being reincarnation emissaries!
This sets up the rest of the show where Naomi gives us a great time-hack and Stephen guides the meditation to encourage our time-lord superpowers! This is a lot of fun…

This week’s pre-session chat with Laura Robinson is full of joy. We play a version of Laura’s game Count Your Blessings, flipping negatives into positives, challenging ourselves to find a positive spin on what at first seems impossibly negative. This is our last week with Laura, but we’ve had such a great time, as well as received such unbridled loving feedback, she’s definately coming back! We then set up Naomi’s tapping session to find the silver lining in every moment of our lives and of course Laura’s guided meditation.

Week three with Laura Robinson and we went overtime. We outed the reptile-brain-limbic-system and challenged its fight/flight/freeze survival programme with the maxim “leap and the net shall appear “.This conversation is a continuation of the last two weeks where we shine the spotlight on creativity and set up the tapping and guided meditation to remove fear from our field.

Another great meditation this week with Laura Robinson. Naomi and Laura chat about how years ago they formed a sacred Monday night “soul cluster” of awesome GF’s who were there for each other discussing relationships, philosophy, ideas and group therapy… ‘holding down the four corners of the world’. Stephen thinks they were ‘cookin’ up the shape of things to come.” Then of course there’s the time warp topic, that reality is rubbery and that things are not quite the same as they used to be…
