I gave them invisibility.
Some thought it was a blessing. Others thought it was punishment.

I gave them shadows… to teach them contrast.
Instead, they learned fear.

All I wanted was dimension. Instead… they flattened.
I watched.
I watched them collapse their entire identity inward.
