Shout out to True Crime Obsessed with their Patreon series, and The Menendez Brothers on Netflix for refreshing me on this case!
We're keeping our fingers crossed that they'll be out soon!
This week, we recap Joe Urschel's book The Year of Fear.
In his book, he discusses the takedown of the infamous gangster George 'Machine Gun' Kelly and how this arrest cemented the FBI as the law enforcement arm of the federal government in the US.
Pics will be on our instagram @ontrialpod!
This week we're going back in time to the 1920's where scandal struck the small town of New Brunswick, NJ.
The town's reverend and one of the women from his choir were found murdered, their torrid affair exposed to the world.
The scandal was so salacious the newspapers at the time couldn't report on it fast enough. So much so the Tabloid was born.
Despite all this media attention, this crime remains unsolved to this day!
