For most people, survival is about playing it safe. For Katie Rydge, it's not.
It’s about stripping life back to meet only what's real - in solitude, silence, with only instinct as your guide.
Katie is a wilderness survivalist who's spent over 20 years mastering primitive skills, guiding rites of passage, and living off the land. She's ridden horses through remote Australian cattle stations, led expeditions into Aboriginal communities in Arnhem Land, and competed on Season 12 of ALONE - landing herself as second runner up.
But her real work goes deeper than bush survival. Katie guides women back to themselves through nature - weaving earth-based practice with something more primal, more spiritual, more tantric.
Paige and Katie's conversation goes beneath the surface - into sex, nature, hunting, birth, and consciousness - to question what it actually means to feel alive.

Not all medicine comes in a bottle… The deepest healing begins by noticing how your physical body and emotional world are intertwined.
Sam Kankanamge is a leading voice in holistic health, known internationally for weaving 5,000-year-old Sri Lankan healing wisdom with modern science. With over 25 years of experience in osteopathy, acupuncture, and neonatal medicine, Sam was once described by The Times (2014) as “the best back specialist in the UK.” He’s the founder of Sen Wellness — a healthcare clinic in London and a retreat sanctuary in Sri Lanka.
Yet, despite his clinical expertise, Sam believes that real, lasting change comes through facing your darkness and remembering your connection to the natural world.
In this episode, Paige meets Dr. Sam at the Sen Sanctuary on the shores of Netolpitiya, Sri Lanka, shortly after her own experience with Panchakarma — an ancient Ayurvedic detox system. They dive into a conversation about healing, energy, and the unseen forces that shape our well-being.

Yoga isn’t just a movement practice… It's a philosophy. Some practitioners even believe it’s a direct portal to meet with God. Whether you believe that’s a God in the sky, the God of the natural world or the God within you.
Lance Schuler is a legend in the global yoga community, often referred to as the “Godfather” of yoga in Australia, with over 40 years experience teaching. From martial arts to breathwork and meditation, from New Zealand to China and Europe, he created his own system, Integrated South Pacific Yoga Academy, blending ancient traditions with modern science. He works with his wife Dr Susan Famularo to help people live more intentionally, from the way they breathe to what they eat. More than that, at 70 years old, Lance has the energy, strength and charisma of a 30 year old. In this day and age, that’s a miracle.
In this episode, Paige interviews Lance on his stunning property in Byron Bay, hoping to siphon as much wisdom as she can.

Tamara the Brave is a transformation mentor, shamanic practitioner, and ex-corporate rebel who left her marketing job after losing her hair from stress and vomiting in the car every morning. In this conversation, she shares the true cost of ignoring your inner knowing — and what it actually takes to live in alignment.
This is part two of a longer chat we had. You can find part one:

Tamara also gets real about the spiritual delusion of “trust” without self-responsibility, her PTSD recovery, the inner child’s role in dating, and why fantasy isn't a viable financial plan (or a relationship one).
This one’s raw, wise, and wildly useful if you're trying to make sense of your patterns — in love, money, or your nervous system.

"After cuddle party training, I had a clean ‘no’ in my back pocket."
Hello, my loves. In this episode, I sit down with Tamara the Brave — bodyworker, mentor, and one of the most grounded women I’ve met. She speaks from the earth up. And this conversation is exactly that: rooted and real.
Tamara shares what menopause has been teaching her. We talk about radical self-responsibility, the cost of self-abandonment, and how most of us weren’t taught to rest — we were taught to burn out.
We also get stuck into:
- My unhinged moment with a parking officer
- The wisdom of cuddle parties
- The stuff women in their 20s, 30s and 40s need know about menopause
- Leaving the corporate world with a fried nervous system
- The danger of chasing peak experiences
- Getting honest about the difference between rest and collapse
This episode might not give you the answers — but it’ll inspire you to stop outsourcing them. It'll remind you to slow down, give you a good idea of what to start taking care of now while you're full of oestrogen, and offer one woman’s account of finding sovereignty.

In this episode, I sit down with Teddi Emerald — transformational coach, crypto educator, and owner of Byron Bay’s beloved vintage store, Trash — to explore the wild intersections between trauma, spirituality, money, pleasure, and the feminine body.
Teddi opens up about her childhood with a mentally ill parent, her ten years inside a religious cult, the journey that led her to become a practitioner of EFT Tapping and Matrix Reimprinting, and the recent situationship that made her a student of her own teachings all over again.
We get stuck into:– Healing culture and the traps of “spirituality”– When relationships feel right but are absolutely wrong– The wisdom your seggsual fantasies hold– The link between financial sovereignty and self-worth– What success really means when you’ve unhooked from the matrix
This conversation bends genres — it’s part tea-spill, part belief-system rewiring, and part permission slip to take up all the space with your brilliance, bigness, and power.

In this live-recorded episode, I sit down with Ruby Shine to explore how our earliest environments — even the womb — can leave a lasting imprint on the body.Ruby reflects on her journey through early parentification, relentless anxiety, C-PTSD, insomnia, and PCOS with her signature no-filter style. It’s raw, funny, and full of the kind of honesty that makes you laugh and then immediately reflect on your own life.We recorded this one live at Sol Method — Ruby’s somatic yoga studio in Byron Bay — in front of a room full of people who know her as a teacher, guide, and multi-entrepreneur. It takes real guts to speak this openly in front of your own community. And she did not hold back.We get into:- Ruby’s experience of complex trauma showing up as acne, insomnia, and PCOS- How her mother’s pregnancy and early childhood shaped her nervous system- The long road to forgiveness, and learning to hold multiple truths at once- Why overachieving became her coping mechanism — and how she began to unravel it- What it looked like for her to stop becoming her feelings, and start actually feeling themIf you’re curious about the threads between body, biography, and belief; if you live with a sensitive system, an invisible illness, or the urge to push through when you probably need to pause — or if you just love a conversation that’s vulnerable, girlie, and deeply human — this one’s for you.Connect with Ruby:Instagram: @rubyshine__Her Substack, The Awakened Woman:https://theawakenedwoman.substack.com/Her yoga studio (in-person and soon-to-be online), Sol Method:https://www.solmethod.com.au/

What makes his perspective unique is how he bridges spiritual depth with brutal honesty and humour. I laugh a lot in this episode.
- His early days in comedy + working as a giant tooth (?!)
- How plant medicine told him to stop being such a jerk
- What it was like being a shaman

This week’s episode is a little different — a live conversation, recorded at my favourite yoga studio in Byron Bay, Sol Method, with a room full of incredible, inquisitive women as our audience.
I sat down with Tara Folton, co-owner of Sol Method, yoga teacher, and all-round powerhouse, to explore how movement, motherhood, and identity intersect in ways that are both deeply personal and universally relatable.
From growing up on a farm in Pennsylvania with bi-racial parents, to discovering yoga, to moving through one of the most intense and identity-shifting experiences of her life: giving birth and becoming a mother.
We dive into:
- Her childhood — and how it shaped her approach to life and movement
- Finding yoga — and choosing it as both a practice and a profession
- Her birth experience — the story of bringing her son into the world
- Parenting — in all of its messy and humbling glory
This one is not to be missed — if for no other reason than Tara is, hands down, the hottest 46-year-old I have ever known (whatever she’s doing, it’s working)!
In all seriousness, this ep is for the soon-to-be mummas, the seasoned mummas, and the dedicated movers reparenting themselves through the practice of yoga.

Fletcher Nugent knows what it’s like to completely hit your limit.
After competing at a high level in Melbourne’s footy scene, he hit a breaking point — a nervous breakdown that left him unable to get out of bed for months. His path forward wasn’t about getting back to where he was. It was about becoming someone entirely new.
Now, he’s a respected evolutionary yoga teacher and Dao wisdom guide, leading young men in ways he never expected.
In this episode, we talk about:
- The burnout that shattered his old identity and forced him to rebuild
- The freakishly serendipitous moment that led him to his spiritual teacher
- Owning a business as a spiritual seeker
- Why the way you breathe has the potential to change you — for better or worse

I sat down with Joel Iliffe — former heroin user turned drug dependency recovery coach — to explore addiction, authenticity, and why connection and relief are the driving forces behind everything we do.
Joel's journey from dependency to recovery isn't your typical redemption story — nor does he tell it in that way. It's raw, messy, and refreshingly honest about both the allure and devastation of addiction. What makes his perspective unique isn't just his past — it's how he's transformed his experiences into profound insights and compassion for his own human nature.
We dive into:
- His unique relationship with heroin — and his evolving perspective on the role it played in his life
- Relapse, shame, and the non-linear reality of recovery
- Why choosing your own path to balance matters
- How much we both love Matthew McConaughey — because lighten up
If you're curious about the human condition, or if you've ever wanted to hear someone talk about addiction with unflinching honesty rather than Instagram-style inspiration, this conversation is for you.

I sat down with Ruby Shine — menstrual cycle and mindset coach, and one of my closest friends of 22 years — to chat about stress, somatics and why we can't think our way out of all our problems.
Ruby's story is one I've watched unfold in real time. Years of survival mode until her body finally said "enough is enough" through crippling anxiety, insomnia, cystic acne and PCOS (all physical manifestations of C-PTSD). She turned it around through breath, movement, and body-centric healing.
But what makes Ruby's perspective unique isn't just her health journey — it's how it shaped her approach to creating a true partnership between the body and mind, rather denying either one's wisdom.
We dive into:
- Why stress hits women differently (turns out, being "sensitive" isn't what you think)
- The "wellness overloader" trap — when self-care becomes another source of stress
- What "somatic" actually means (because let's be honest, everyone seems to have their own definition)
- How to work with your nervous system without abandoning your mind
If you've ever questioned the Instagram wellness narrative around "getting out of your head and into your body," or if you're curious about a more nuanced approach to ending the stress cycle, this conversation is for you.
