On the Rise: A Conversation with Hannah Jackson of YBPIA

Join our host Nick Lochrie as he sits down with Hannah Jackson, founding president of Young Black Professionals in International Affairs (YBPIA), to discuss the organization’s work enhancing, promoting, and increasing African and African diaspora (African-American, Afro-Latinx, Afro-Caribbean) participation, conversation, and perspective in the Elliott School of International Affairs at the George Washington University.

The Onero Institute is proud to partner with the members of Young Black Professionals in International Affairs on several initiatives and to increase awareness for their mission. Our overlapping goals of better involving underrepresented voices in international policy discourse and our shared emphasis on professional development towards that end help grow the field of international affairs, making it more accessible for all.
