Where to begin with this one. Wow. Kelly Vigilante returns to talk about a little film called Night Killer, which was filmed in our hometown of Virginia Beach and directed (mostly) by Claudio Fragasso (Troll 2). The plot: A killer wearing a rubber-like Freddy Krueger mask terrorizes the city of Virginia Beach.  It sounds pretty bad, but then it gets so much worse.

Sometimes you come across a film that is the perfect storm of terrible filmmaking, yet is still entertaining. 1986's Nightmare Weekend is that film. Guest Host Kelly Vigilante joins Rob Holmes this week to talk about this VHS classic that has to be seen to be believed. Alright, I've got another list of 10 horror films to check out this week on streaming platforms. As with the last episode, none of these film recommendations are repeats from any past lists.

So to start things off, I've compiled a list of 10 films that you should check out on Shudder.  None of these films are from previous episodes or lists, so this won't be a simple rehash of old content.

The Raid's Iko Uwais reunites with Joe Taslim and The Raid 2's Hammer Girl, Julie Estelle for a film about betrayal, redemption, and brutal bone-crushing violence. Horror fan Jeremy Johnson joins Rob this week to discuss one of his favorite films, Trollhunter! This is easily one of the greatest found footage films ever made and showed the world that the Norwegian film industry is a major force to be reckoned with. Victoria Hall is back once again with one of her all time favorites!  Rob had never seen Trick or Treat, and now he isn't sure how he went his entire life without it. This 90's piece of horror nostalgia stars Jared Leto & Alicia Witt and features horror legends Robert Englund, Danielle Harris, and Brad Dourif in supporting roles. Let's be honest, a lot of horror sequels suck... Here are 10 that don't.

This one was a pleasant surprise and a great take on 'The Invisible Man' story. Just like with 2018's 'Upgrade', Leigh Whannell is able to take a small budget and make the absolute most out of it. Also, Elizabeth Moss is the best...just the best As always, there will be a ton of spoilers, so make sure to watch the film first. At the time of recording, you can SEE 'The Invisible Man' on HBOMAX or rent it via various digital platforms.  

This week we are taking a look at the micro-budget indie horror 'I Am a Ghost' directed by H.P. Mendoza. While it is a slow burn and definitely not for everyone, it is a personal favorite and really showcases creativity and innovation on a limited budget.
