We are Black women!!! We LOVE being Black women. Because Black women are ambitious. Black women are confident. Black women are diligent. We are tenacious! We walk out of hour houses “PUT TOGETHER”. We are many shades and personalities of FABULOUS! Black Women Love to Talk!!! But…we, as Black women, aren't often provided the space to talk about our dilemmas, current events, and what affects us. Join us as we talk through everything from current events and memes, to news and our personal lives. We may even throw in a story or two about our friends (with their permission of course.) Although our focus is Black Women, We invite everyone (regardless of gender or ethnicity)to join the conversation. We created this podcast as a way to laugh together…cry together…and have an open conversation about life as a Black woman.

Tell THE Truth, Shame the Devil... Not the People
Nicole has been struggling with her voice for the past few weeks. So you all please send prayers up for Nicole because we want her to get her voice back to normal. We’re super, super excited because this week, standing in for Nicole is Cheryl Jackson. In our opening chatter we talk about how our week has been. What’s on Our Timeline? Is what has been on everyone’s timeline for the past few weeks, Kat Williams. Let’s Talk Through It. Our first friend started going to church in college. At some point she started dating the pastor's son. She was a bit wild and wasn't ready to settle down, however, he was focused on becoming assistant pastor. They eventually broke up and she moved back home and got married. Fast forward 10 years, her husband landed a great job in the city where she went to college. So they moved back and joined the church that she used to attend in college, where her ex was the assistant pastor. The chemistry was exactly where they left it and they ended up having an affair. A few months after the affair ended, she found out she was pregnant with her youngest daughter. While it dawned on her that the assistant pastor might be the father, she didn't bring it up because they agreed never to speak on the affair. Now he is the pastor of the church and she really wants to find out if he is the father. She wants to share her truth so that the people know who their pastor really is. She asks us if she should share her truth? Our other friend needs our advice. Her supervisor is very successful and oversees several divisions of the company they work for. The owner and employees love him. However, as his executive assistant, she sees a very different side of him. A man that flies by the seat of his pants, forgets his wife's birthday and she sends her to get gifts for him. He is a workaholic father that consistently breaks promises to his children and makes decisions by the mere flip of a coin. Her gut is telling her to keep it to herself, but part of her wants to share how he really is behind the scenes. She wants to know what we think she should do? Until we meet again. Pray! Work! Slay! And Show Off Your Melanated Excellence!
