BeNeR1 is a graffiti writer from Hanover, Germany who is active since 1998. He lived in Johannesburg during his childhood and is a member of the Envious Crew. His body of work has a mainly realistic approach, but his love for letters is deeply rooted in his passion for the graff culture.

In this episode we speak to early female pioneer Motel 40HK PGS. Motel started painting in 2003, she then went overseas in 2009 and then spent the next 15 years painting and baking burners between the UK, Norway and South Africa. She has had solo shows in London, Amsterdam, Oslo, Cape Town and Los Angeles.
Motel was one of the earliest participants in Rime’s exchange program and we are super grateful to talk to her.
