The now government (FAST Party) found a way to go through with the Swearing In Ceremony on the 24th of May 2021 for its 26 members despite the doors of the Parliament House being locked.

First time in the history of politics in Samoa to lock the doors of the Fale Fono (Parliament House) on the day the 17th Parliament was suppose to convene. The selected government at the time (FAST Party) were locked outside together with the Judges of Samoa's Judiciary.
