Uta's story is full of adventure and service. She reflects on her life journey as a child migrant, an army wife, an Army reservist, a career woman, a wife and mother, and an avid community worker. Uta discusses the intersection between army life and regional communities, and her role crossing both spheres.
Carole is one of Albury library's most-loved and longest serving librarians. She is also a strong community advocate and a mother and grandmother to many. She reflects on how libraries have changed over 50+ years, the dual roles of motherhood and work, her love of lifelong learning, and the ongoing importance of the library in our communities.
