Tuesday is a proud member of the Wolf Clan, Mohawk Nation, from Six Nations of the Grand River, grounded in the teachings of the Great Tree of Peace. With over a decade of leadership in the events industry, Tuesday and her team have worked alongside Indigenous organizations across Canada, delivering trusted planning, consultation and site selection services at local, regional, and national levels. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Destination Toronto, where she brings valuable Indigenous insight to the tourism and hospitality sectors. In our conversation, Tuesday shared meaningful ways the events industry can respectfully include Indigenous voices. She emphasized the importance of delivering Land Acknowledgements with true intention— researching and understanding their meaning, not just reciting them. These acknowledgements are more than formality; they are a connection to place, people, and story.
