Nolan Mueller
Today’s guest is a friend of mine, Nolan Mueller. I got the chance to be in this guy’s wedding a year ago because one of his groomsmen had a collapsed lung. Beyond that useless information, Nolan is bright, fun, and kind of looks the bad guy on Blue Streak. This friendship has sprung up all kinds of interesting conversations over the years, and I’m very excited to share this one. Hope you enjoy! Whether you’re a plumber, an author, a struggling artist, an architect, an electrician, a teacher, a waiter, a barista, a maid, a nanny, a mom, a dad, unemployed, sad, happy, depressed, lonely, enlightened, jaded, or anything else I forgot: you have something special to offer everyone. Normal People
Brian Davenport
Whether you’re a plumber, an author, a struggling artist, an architect, an electrician, a teacher, a waiter, a barista, a maid, a nanny, a mom, a dad, unemployed, sad, happy, depressed, lonely, enlightened, jaded, or anything else I forgot: you have something special to offer everyone. You have a wisdom. You have a story. And I’m dying to talk with you about it. My first guest is a buddy of mine named Brian Davenport. Brian and I grew up in the same home town, and we’ve reconnected since we both moved to Austin. Brian lives on this beautiful 5 acre plot of land outside of Austin. His home is surrounded by oak tress, random tool sheds, a chicken coop, a pretty large caged area for these two rabbits (name), a massive compost pile, and a delightful pup named Zola running around. Brian and his wife Nina met in Tokyo some years ago while modeling for their separate agencies. After living in Brooklyn for some years modeling, longboarding, and starting a business, Brian and Nina moved down south, to Austin, into a home with no septic system, because human poopoo makes for the best compost, and an envious adventure of building a self-sustaining life together, using their 5 acres as the expression to how dadgum excited they are to be alive, healthy, and together. I hope you enjoy me and Brian’s conversation.
