Turning the Tanker — Sal's PMQs Roundup, Reform's Dubious Donations, Musk & the Far-Right
PART ONE of this week's episode.
In part one we discussed David Lammy's surprising performance at PMQs, the ongoing ridicule levied at Reform and Farage, the rise of the far-right and Musk's interference in UK politics.
Part Two will be out tomorrow with chat about flags (again) and two big topics — mental health and the climate emergency.

Has the USA Failed — Government Shutdown, Hungry Kids plus Carol Decker and Flying Buses.
PART TWO of this week's episode.
We chatted about the ongoing government shutdown in the US and how, from next week, food stamps will no longer be available. It's disgusting when Trump is boasting about restarting nuclear tests.
This episode was a real rollercoaster of emotions with hope in Zohran Mamdani and the Patriotic Millionaires but also the devastating effects that Trump is having.
We chatted about Carol Decker's weird rant about vocab, whilst forgetting full stops, AND we had an amazing announcement towards the end that culminated in Sal breaking down with laughter … well worth the wait.

Part One of this week's episode.
We were very happy to be joined by X's very own Mr. Ethical this week to talk about his investigations into Nigel Farage and Reform UK. His real name is Nick!
This bit also has Sal's PMQ's round up and chat about the continuing lies being spread about the Motability scheme by those on the right.
We talked a lot about Reform in this part, including Don's ongoing investigation into their donors.

Told You So — Katie Lam, No Kings Protests & Mike Graham — A Good News Episode
Part Two of this week's delayed episode.
Don gave himself a rare attaboy for his prediction about Katie Lam.
Sal let loose with a canon of good news — Mike Graham managed to be too racist for the Murdochs, and the #NoKings protests in the US, gives us hop.

Zero tech issues this week, and we came in under an hour. Is this the future of podcasting?
Sal rounded up a weird PMQs and chatted about the grim events surrounding the Sumud Flotilla. She also brought some joy with the rise of an animal resistance in Portland.
Don talked about ITV's The Hack and it's resonance today, plus some stuff about RFK Jr. and the far-right.

Asylum Affairs with Lou Calvey — Asylum Seekers Deserve Our Attention. And FLAGS Again. Our guest this week is the incredible, Lou Calvey. Lou appeared in a personal capacity. The level of knowledge and detail Lou brings to our conversation around asylum seekers, is astounding, and we truly thank her for the work she does.As usual, we talked about Reform — less so though, and more about FLAGS, because, well they're everywhere and getting annoying. We recorded this last week but have had a series of headache inducing tech issues, that has led to Don almost headbutting his laptop — so some of the stuff we mention has already been rendered out of date. 🙄Links for the show:Don's Substack is here.Write to your MP here. All our contact details are here. Thanks, as always, to @TheZombyPop on 𝕏 for our theme tune.

Positive Humanity — Autism in children, Farage punts crypto, Your Party woes & Good news stories
This week, we welcomed Gary Gilligan as our special guest. Gary is a writer and all round excellent human, but we got him on to discuss autism in children. He is the parent to an autistic son and gave us some valuable insight and points to consider when talking to autistic people.
We also talked about Nigel Farage [of course] and his advertising of a crypto coin linked to Reform's largest donor. No PMQs this week, but Sal got stuck into the ongoing catastrophe that is Your Party.
And we ended with, not one, but two good news stories. Which is nice.

The Poverty of Shame — Farage Gin, Far-right Psychopathy, Charlie Kirk's Money Woes, Free Speech Meltdown
This is our longest episode to date, so you may want to break it up into bite sized chunks or, perhaps, you need two hours of Sal and Don chatting you around in a perfect circle of political madness.
We covered a lot of ground this week, including the insane Turning Point, the potentially, non-existent Farage Gin, and the gaslighting of a nation by Tommy Robinson.
Sal talks to us about here theory of the shame of poverty, leading to the rise of the far-right.
We had some laughs as well, and Don managed to shoehorn Die Hard in as a political reference. Somehow!

PART 1 — Badenoch Brings The Heat — PMQs, Reform Conference Disaster & Farage Didn't Buy a House
This week in Part One, Sal and Don chatted about an unusual turn of events at PMQs — Kemi Badenoch did her actual job as Leader of the Opposition, and pinned Starmer down … hard. Some pressing questions about Mandelson and the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
The Reform roundup, this week, focusses on the Party Conference in which they managed to platform a convicted criminal racist and a rabid antivaxxer. Oops!
Don also chats about Nigel Farage, allegedly, buying a disused house for his partner.
Part Two is more generalised chat about the week's events and some discussion around a little known condition called Akathisia — check it out tomorrow.

This is part one of two episodes this week. We were lucky enough to have the amazing, Liz Webster join us to talk about all things Brexit, Singapore-on-Thames, the failure of the Lib Dems and the challenge of the far-right.
Liz is a farmer and advocate for British food and the impact that Brexit had on our food economy. We chatted about that and many other things, including the breaking news of Angela Rayner's shock resignation.
Liz is exceptionally knowledgeable and a staunch promoter of the cause to Rejoin the EU.

Flags Week — Flags! Flags! Flags! Reform Lose the Plot, GB News Threats, Stamp Duty & Katie Lam.
You may have noticed in the media that it's Flags Week again — it comes around sooner every year. We have a chat about that and how Farage has used it to cover up a whopping mistake.
Sal educates Don on Stamp Duty — the history of, and the current state of play.
We've put in a little clip of the incredible Stewart Lee for your delectation — it highlights that Reform are still UKIP, twelve years down the line.
And Don tells us all about being threatened by a GB News presenter.

Off Diary — Tory Irrelevance, Media Crime Reporting Bias, US DOGE Disaster & Labour's Dismal Comms
This week's [slightly late] episode starts a bit dour, but we finish with some good laughs at the expense of the far-right.
Labour's astonishing lack of focus and the Conservative's fading relevance.
Look out for a jump scare from Sal. You'll know it when you hear it.
We discuss LBC's continuing descent into Reform purgatory and their outright bias regarding crime reporting.

We're back with a full episode this week. Apologies if you missed us.
This week, Sal has done some excellent research into the removal of ACOBA and what it means for grifting MPS after they leave Parliament.
Don has another DOGE round up from Lancashire this time, followed by some chat about Farage's latest soft soap interview on LBC.
We got into Labour's woeful PR again and Don asked Sal for an update on the Online Safety Bill! Hilarity ensued.
