Ed Kemper has intrigued psychiatrists, behaviorists, and the general public for decades. Committing his first two murders at just 15 years old, Ed set down a path that only ended when he was ready. And when that time came, he let everything be known. Born to an alcoholic mother and a father that had served in WWII, Ed's odd behaviors and hulking size set him apart at a very early age. But whether he was dodging a belt to the face, or killing the family pets, he was always seeking his mother's approval. He was always met with the opposite, in the harshest of ways. Dubbed the "co-ed killer," the 6 foot 9 inch Ed made his way through Santa Cruz between 1972 and 1973, dealing misplaced revenge. Ultimately totaling 10 victims. But nothing was silenced, until his mother.
