But when a local patrol officer noticed flames from the building, any innocence remaining in Austin vanished. Firefighters arrived to find the girls bound, nude, and murdered. But the flames and subsequent water washed away any obtainable evidence to solve the heinous murders. Or did it? This case went stale for the last 34 years.
