Electricity: The biggest achievement of a change agent

Namudu Gloria works with Gawoole John at Bwase Bogobwe zone village. I met the two in August this year 2023, when I visited their village. Gloria told me that one of the things she is very proud about her work in animation is the availability of electricity in their village. Although she doesn't have a television at her own home, she said she was very pleased that several villagers in her community benefit from the electricity in various ways. I started our conversation by asking her, "How does she find her role as a Change Agent?"

How change agents won the heart of their chairperson

Gawoole John is a change agent from Bwase Bogobwe zone village. When I met him in August 2023, it was very clear how he took proud in his role as a change agent. But things weren’t always like that in his village. In the beginning of the animation work in their village, the chairperson gave him and his colleague Namudu Gloria such a hard time that the programme almost failed. But today, the three of them enjoy such a cordial relationships.

In some villages, their work has distinguished them as the go-to-individuals when their communities want certain projects to be accomplished.
