Union and UON on a collision course over enterprise agreement
Newcastle University's academic and professional staff are on a collision course with university management over a new enterprise agreement. The union is urging staff to vote "no" to a ballot on the new plan, which was announced yesterday. National Tertiary Education Union Newcastle President Terry Summers claims, at a brief meeting yesterday, the university confirmed it wasn't interested in increasing a pay offer to an acceptable level. NSWRL announce significant new investment into the womens game
The NSWRL yesterday announced a new partnership with Westpac that will see them take over the naming rights of the NSW Blues and feature on the front of the iconic Blues jersey until the end of 2026. The partnership, which provides equal financial support for programs promoting the men’s and women’s game, means Westpac will play a key role in supporting female participation pathways and other NSWRL initiatives.
