Trinitarian Bridge-building from Racism to Peacemaking: Truth of Belonging

Ø Welcome to New Wine New Wineskins on Clubhouse where we seek to build relational bridges through Jesus by engaging relevant subjects. We have been talking about Trinitarian Theology as bridge building from racism to peacemaking.  We have previously defined Trinitarian Theology, among other things, as being the relationship of self-giving, other focused love of God the Father, God the Son & God the Holy Spirit one to the other from before the beginning and to us in Jesus Christ. For those of us who have a Trinitarian Theology as a core life value, that Trinitarian love we talk about should be pouring out to the other in and through us. Today we are going to continue talking about belonging, racism’s impact on that, and what does peacemaking look like in the context of racism?

What does peacemaking look like in the context of racism? Our dialogue last week focused on our mutual belonging to the Triune God in and through Jesus. As followers of Jesus Christ, this “belonging” extends to one another.
