She is currently working in Abu Dhabi as advisor for the department of municipalities and transport. Huda is also known and perhaps better known as the Green Urbanista. Ibrahim Abdul-Matin is one of the founders of the current Green Deen movement. He Authored the book Green Deen: what Islam teaches about protecting the planet in 2010. In the book, he highlights the responsibility of people of faith to protect the planet.
He works as a principal at Green Squash Consulting, a management consulting firm in New York, and lectures in public policy at Baruch college. His work focuses on deepening democracy and improving public engagement. In the years past he worked as director of community affairs at the New York department of environmental protection and as a policy advisor to the mayor of new york. He has a master's degree in Public Administration with a focus on the management of cities.
