RECORDED 12/12/25
As 2024 comes to a close, we begin our year-end lists. To start, we decided to rip the band-aid off and cover the worst of what we heard. Bad news first is always better, right? The start of this episode recaps our bottom 25 by average cumulative score for what was reviewed this year on the podcast. Stick around until the end to see Micah and I's Top 10 Worst Songs lists individually! We'll be back next week in the same format to go over the best of what 2024 had to offer.

RECORDED 12/5/24 This week we went back through and picked five albums from the year that we skipped over to review. They're all from some lesser-known artists, so we're hoping to give you some new and fresh recommendations! RECORDED 11/26/24
A surprise album from Kendrick Lamar really shook the world of music this week. A long-anticipated Father John Misty album is making a comparatively low amount of buzz, but it says a lot that it's even being noticed.

14:52 Father John Misty - Mahashmashana
22:22 Buckshot & Hackle - WICKERMEN
27:15 Amine - .mp3s
RECORDED 11/19/24 This week marks the important and significant return of Linkin Park, which was our biggest point of discussion. There were also some surprising and impressive releases this week from Poppy, Cordae and more! As the year starts to wrap up and come to a close, it seems like 2024 is going out on a strong note. 00:00 Linkin Park - From Zero 12:12 Poppy - Negative Spaces 21:03 Cordae - The Crossroads 32:29 Denzel Curry - KING OF THE MISCHEIVIOUS SOUTH (Reissue) 40:57 femtanyl - REACTOR
RECORDED 11/5/24 We've got two major, important releases this week, with new albums from Mount Eerie and The Cure. It's The Cure's first album in a whole 16 years, so it's pretty exciting to see their return. There's a Lil Uzi Vert album too...

19:53 The Cure - Songs For a Lost World
36:09 Lil Uzi Vert - Eternal Atake 2
44:59 BONES - Cadaver
53:34 The Garden - Six Desperate Songs
This was a very significant week in music for the both of us, because Tyler the Creator has at long last dropped his eighth studio album, "Chromakopia". We had a lot of thoughts on it here, and probably could've gone on even longer than we already did. There were also a couple of notable albums in the Indie space from Soccer Mommy and Laura Marling. We took a look at those here as well, alongside a couple of very exciting singles. 00:00 Tyler the Creator - Chromakopia
18:49 Laura Marling - Patterns in Repeat
27:08 Soccer Mommy - Evergreen
31:57 Lady Gaga - Disease
34:46 Ghost Mountain and Sematary - Dark Harvest

RECORDED 10/22/24
This week's music felt particularly significant in a year that's already been so significant. The most popular realease this time around is Yeat's "Lyfestyle" which is making just as big of a splash as his "2093" album earlier this year. There were also some notable records from Jean Dawson, Machine Girl, and more! Some of our favorite songs of the whole year landed in this episode. TIMESTAMPS:
00:00 Yeat - LYFESTYLE
08:36 Jean Dawson - Glimmer of God
19:10 Machine Girl - MGULTRA
27:40 Kelly Lee Owens - Dreamstate
32:40 Juice WRLD - The Pre Part (Extended)
36:24 Some closing thoughts...

RECORDED 10/15/24
The mix of albums we have here is one of the most diverse so far. The biggest album itself is also one of the most diverse albums we've covered on here. The Brat remix album is certainly a wild moment in music, and the other albums here live up to the moment easily.
00:00 Charli XCX - Brat and it's completely different but also still brat
19:44 Chat Pile - Cool World
28:55 Current Joys - East My Love
38:03 TURQUOISEDEATH- Kaleidoscope

RECORDED 8/6/2024 This is the strangest episode we’ve recorded so far. Two of the five albums have some controversial circumstances, and three of the five albums didn’t even drop on Friday! Parannoul and JPEGMAFIA’s albums are being respected as the best albums of the whole year, and the newest Vultures album is being received entirely in the opposite direction. Even with all of that in mind, an unexpected album that got sent our way ended up stealing the show for us.
00:00 Intro 00:06 JPEGMAFIA - I LAY DOWN MY LIFE FOR YOU 16:08 Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign/Y$ - VULTURES 2 28:19 파란노을 [Parannoul] - Sky Hundred 37:27 Auric Echoes - Division For Human Ascension 48:57 Michael & The Mighty Midnight Revival - SONGS FOR SINNERS & SAINTS 55:46 Charli XCX and Billie Eilish - Guess Remix 59:00 Rankings/Outro
RECORDED 7/30/2024 Porter Robinson's wonderful follow-up SMILE :D has finally come to fruition, and the result was a pretty huge moment in music.
