After more than a decade of using her broadcasting skills and independent filmmaking experience to share Enchanting Stories on her Video Podcast, "New Mexicast," former TV news anchor and reporter, Rosa Linda Román, was burned out. In her post-mainstream media life she had created an independent body of work she was proud of, but as a one-woman-band AND a full-time mother of 3, it was tough to find a healthy balance that worked for her family. In 2015, she started recording voice memos as she wrestled with plans for the future. That was also the year her family bought the sailing catamaran, s/v Dawn Treader. In the coming months, as her family used the KonMari method to downsize their home and move from New Mexico onto the boat, Rosa Linda continued making these recordings along the way. Listen in as she shares her journey; both personal and professional, from New Mexico to Florida and the Bahamas, and from New Mexicast to New Mexi-Castaways.
