With the gunshots still ringing out the shooter, Pryce Cheng (Terry Chen), makes a run for it with Alisa (Janet McTeer) hot on his heels. Thankfully Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) gets hold of him first. With Cheng knocked out and drugged up in the bathtub Jessica tries to convince Alisa to find a different solution from murder as the shooting forces Jessica to rethink her plans. Meanwhile, Shane Ryback (Eden Marryshow) is released from prison, and attempts to heal Jeri Hogarth (Carrie-Anne Moss); Malcolm Ducasse (Eka Darville) is still in the wind after taking the I.G.H. drug; and druggy Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) quits her radio show live on air only to be offered a new job as a TV anchor just as her I.G.H. pick-me-up runs out! Oscar Arocho (J.R. Ramirez) asks Jessica for help with a family crisis after his ex-wife Sonia (Victoria Cartagena) kidnaps their son Vido (Kevin Chacon). The mother and daughter partnership rescue Oscar’s son and Alisa sees the potential of a life together with Jessica.But murderous thoughts return to Alisa as her dream is threatened by Cheng. Back at the apartment Jessica frees Cheng, and calls the police as Alisa is forced to surrender herself to the N.Y.P.D.
