Here is my spoiler review of SUPERMAN! Christopher Reeve once said Superman is a friend and that’s what people need most, and in an age where our heroes in movies are often subverted, or anti-heroes, the world needs the pureness of James Gunn’s SUPERMAN: a friend of unwavering goodness and compassion.
I have been a Superman fan as long as I can remember. I would wear my Supes pajamas with the velcro cape while watching Superman II on repeat and jumping off my family’s couch. I am also someone who loved Man of Steel. There are no divisions in my love for the character, and James Gunn has launched the DCU with another Superman, David Corenswet, who I can happily say is GREAT!
