I was so blessed and shocked when my sister, from The Safe Haven which is an all-female group that she and I were a part of, this group helped us balance motherhood, entrepreneurship, mental health, and more. Reached out to me asking for help to fight for her children to be in her custody. I too battle with this situation myself so I know what it feels like to cry for help.

Having a father can be one of the most fulfilling things for a child, especially and female, but what does that female do when her father is absent and another man wants to take on the responsibility of being her dad? Parenting is not always easy but what makes it harder is trying to parent with your emotions instead of logic, many of us make this mistake instead of seeing the bigger picture. We as parents often forget that our children will soon become an adult and having healthy influences in their lives is important even if it's not you. So why couldn't I have 3 men calling me daughter? Can a child have more than one dad outside of the homosexual guidelines? I believe it's about raising a well-balanced child but my dad had his own issues, so let us finish up the conversation on having a father figure. Part 2

I got daddy issues but let me explain! My biological father @oleschoolpoet sits down and discussed the history of parenting in his household as a child and how that may have impacted him as a absent father and a struggling grandfather in my children, nieces and nephew’s lives. For years I struggled with my identity, not fully knowing who my father was and accepting the one I had due to his drug abuse. Over the years my dad and I didn’t always see eye to eye but we quickly realized through our differences we are able to find common ground in our poetry. Join us, as we discuss the trials and tribulations of having an absent father and the generational cycles we will be breaking by discussing our differences in opinions.
