Welcome to our podcast, ‘My Ordinary Life’.


In each episode we will be talking to some fascinating people who have one thing in common: they all have a learning disability.

In this episode, we meet Liam Carrick.

Liam talks about his hobbies, interests and what makes him happy. From renovating furniture to birthing lambs. Liam has many talents which he shares with us. We talk about the importance of home, and Liam reflects on the Shared Lives Scheme.

Liam has a vibrant social life through his work with Bridge Creative in Bishop Auckland. He is involved with community work supporting other people with disabilities.
