In episode 5, K continues to speculate about what might have caused the mass disappearance, looking into how some people vanished from seemingly impossible locations... and how water might link them in some way.

In episode 4, K looks into the concept of leap years and how the date of The Event links to the people who disappeared, and what role time itself might have to play in all of this.

In episode 3, K explores other disappearances and how they may or may not help explain what happened.

In episode 2, K explores the sound that caused the disaster - what it might be, and where it might have come from.
