Named Apple’s best food app of 2013, it came pre-loaded on the Apple Watch, ultimately leading to a best-selling cookbook and one of Australia’s most epic falls from grace.

She then said it had progressed to Stage IV cancer the same day she found out that she was pregnant again, this time claiming the pregnancy was actually reversing her cancer. WTAF! After racking up over $100,000 in donations, her former friend, Lisa Berry contacted investigative producer, Nancy Moscatiello in an effort to expose her cancer fraud. Their investigation ultimately led to the IRS and federal wire fraud charges resulting in a guilty plea to serve five years in prison for her cancer con. But is “Scamanda” Riley mentally ill as her psychiatrist suggests? Or is she just a grifter trying to pull one last con?
On February 19, 2013, twenty-one year-old Canadian college student, Elisa Lam was found dead, floating face-up in a water tank on the roof of the Cecil Hotel in Los Angeles, California. It started as a missing persons case when elevator footage captured her on February 1 acting erratically on camera. LAPD searched the building and the roof with K-9’s but did not manage to find Elisa or any trace of her at that time. In the coming weeks hotel guests would complain of low water pressure and black water coming out of the faucets, causing a maintenance worker to inspect the water tank, where he found Elisa dead. Ruled an accidental drowning with bipolar disorder as a contributing factor, the official story doesn’t ring true with Andy and Amanda who break it down for real this time, in their second take on the mysterious death of Elisa Lam.
